We are pleased to announce that the Mr. Star Wars Contest now has an official internet home:
    MrStarWars.com

We are now accepting applicants for the 2004 contest to be held at
    DragonCon
    Matters of the Force room
    Saturday, September 5th
    10pm

Our judging panel will include celebrity judges
Mary Franklin, Bantha Tracks Editor, and
    Aaron Allston, Star Wars author.
We will also choose a random member of the audience to round out the panel.

We hope to see you there!

I don't know who this "Dylan McKinney" guy is, but if he was the winner last year, I have his hat and sash.

Hey. You want perfection? You ain't gonna find it at Mr. Star Wars!

I'll ask Sharon to fix it.

    Cool. :D

I've sent in an application. I never heard a final decision on whether I'm eligible for a second year in a row. If I am, put me on the list. If not, you'll get a few chuckles out of my application. ;)

Dylan, I passed along your question about whether or not you would be able to compete this year to the committee. As soon as we come to a consensus, I'll let you know. :)

Even if you do not get to compete, we'll need you in your role of Mr. Star Wars 2003. As I told you before, we'll find some way to abuse...I mean, use you. :p

Yep, it seems we are having some technical difficulties. Our interpid webmistress or I will contact our web host to see what the problem is if the site isn't back up by tonight.

If I'm the only one who is able to submit an application, do I win by default?

    Yeah. Let's keep up this optimistic thinking, Hama.8-}

We'll still accept applications at Dragon*Con.

Apparently, the site is still down as of this morning. I like to think that our site was so popular, we crashed the servers!

Dylan: Sorry for misspelling your name. Of all people I should know about having one's name misspelled.

Is anyone interested in being put up on the hopefuls page?

Congratulations to Nabooty Call! Mr. Star Wars 2004 was selected this past weekend and he swooped in and scooped up the prize.

He was even acknowledged by Mary Franklin during the Star Wars presentation on Sunday.

The Mr. Star Wars website (www.mrstarwars.com) should be updated as soon as we all get some sleep. Keep checking it for pictures!

(And if anyone has pictures they'd be willing to share with our website, please e-mail me.)
