Well, I'm more of a fanficcer than artist, but every now and then, a picture comes around. Probably because I needed it for a fic. Like the following:

    [image=http://i303.photobucket.com/albums/nn128/wuehlkuschler/Cover%20Art/Boba01.jpg]

I'll try to get the old stuff digitalised and up, too. One should get a good laugh out of one or the other...

    Bugger the image doesn't work.
Well, so I'll try to find a home for them piccies first and then repair this mess.

Yay, I kicked things into compliance![face_dancing]

If you have a scanner or a GSM with camera, you can digitise your pictures. I have done that.
Nice work that picture of Fett

Mel! *screams and jumps at MsLanna* [:D]
It's so cool to see you here! :D [face_dancing]

And I love your little Boba! Poor boy! Has to survive love potions and such - no wonder he's so green. :p

Would love to see more of your work. :)

I'm not sure what you're trying to tell me, earlybird-obi-wan. Usually I scan the pictures at my parents'...

*gets glomped to the ground by chilla*
Well, this time he's actually lost his memory...[face_blush] [face_mischief]
I'm running out of things to do to him.:(

Here's a cover for a story about an OC Boba Fett. My first work with photoshop, and I thik I did well, despite that.:)
    [image=http://i303.photobucket.com/albums/nn128/wuehlkuschler/Cover%20Art/Ibob02.jpg]

Just realised that I named it after the wrong story.[face_laugh] I'm stupid. [face_laugh]

    And you're not stupid! [face_shame_on_you] [:D]

PS: Edit your first post and write into the header that you've updated. (and maybe also what) :)

    Thanks Chilla.[:D]

I did some more for more stories. And when the 'layering' thingie finally clicked with me and hw to move things around on a layer (oh no, it works indeed! ) things became much easier.

I like the one in shades of grey best, it just looks - good.

*thinks you deserve getting a picture painted, too!*

For sharing this with all of us!

*asks herself if it is really right to feed you with more Boba Fett stuff!*

    Ah, well...

    *considers an idea of her´s!*

Nice additions, MsLanna--the "ghosted" Mandalorians is an interesting idea, and generates intriguing "bunnies!" And yes on the b/w-monochrome piece--that can be a very good effect, depending on the subject and the contrasts in the images you use. Good work!

Aw, azure, I don't. It's not as if I had mastered the art of PS.[face_blush]
And, um I think I'd rather like some Jango Fett stuff, it that'S alright...[face_batting]

Thanks Basement24. I think I found out some pretty basic functions. And it's fun now.:D

Ack, FalconFan, I'm sorry about the bunnies.
I ghosted him because I wanted to show both, the armour and the man. Actually, I wanted Boba, but there's no good pics of his face around the net.[face_blush]

Here's the latest cover, for a cooperation. There was an attempt that had the logo of CorSec in it, too, but that was too crowded.

Wow, the Crossing Jabba cover looks really awesome! [face_love] Btw: Please update soon again!

I just think you should edit the text so that we can read it a bit better.
Right click onto the text layer in your layer box and select "Blending Options". Then click onto "Outer Shadow". :)

If you're interested....my brother has found a German book in the net about Photoshop that he claims is very good. You want a link?

Lovely work on the coverart, MsLanna--it's a good compositon, and I like the characters' pics, too (Xizor is great! ;) )! Very nice work!

Updating is half out of my hand, Chilla. but go bother DG, too. Migh help.
And I never got the idea of doing shadows for the title. Link sounds good. just send it over.

Thank you FalconFan.:) Composition comes more easy to me than other apsects of PS.;) And I have to admit that all used pics are either googled or me.[face_blush]

    Can't say I'm much of a Mondo Fan, w-righter. [face_blush]
But somehow I got stuck with Boba.[face_plain] And now jango. :D
I'm already looking forward to making covers for my upcoming Jango-fic.[face_dancing]

Okay, the next one I did for bmwgurl17. She did not kill me for the lightsaber, so I'm grateful
I didn't think of shadowing the title again.

Again, a nice composition (and be grateful that it comes easily to you--it's something most of us need to work at pretty hard! ;) )--I like the background image especially: it gives a definite feeling of tension to the piece. I'm sure bmwgurl17 is very pleased with this! :D

Yes, bmwgurl has accepted it, and she seemed happy enough.:D
ANd composition is a gut thing for me FalconFan. I see the pics I wanna use and there is only one good way to put them together. Or maybe I'm just too single minded.;)

    Thanks for the link, Chilla.[:D]
Didn't use it yet, but I think I used abiout every kind of shadowing I could find for this one.

It's just a 'quicky' I slabbed toghether for the first story in my new series. Couldn't find my casted actress dressed right for this, so I don't care too much for it.[face_whistling] That's why I cut sloppily and insted used a softener. I know it shows.[face_blush]

    [image=http://i303.photobucket.com/albums/nn128/wuehlkuschler/Cover%20Art/StrictlyCover.jpg]

But I can't wait to make six more covers with Mr. Jango.[face_dancing]

those fotoshop pictures are great and for making pictures of real large works or old works of art I use a digital camera. Getting that on your computer is easy and you can change them in paint or another programm.

So far I didn't have to take any pics in rl for my covers, earlybird-obi-wan. I'm kinda glad of it. I prefer to use what i find. makes it easier to find the 'right' compisition, I think, because you don't have a myraid of choices...[face_blush]

The next one is for the last story of the series. But give me that chance to play with pics of Jango and I'm all game.[face_blush] Got my actress right on this one, too.[face_love]

Yeah, I wanted even more troopers in the background, FalconFan, but couldn't find a fitting image. Well, internet is not perfect.

So I'm even more happy, to have found the perfect pics for the next cover.
Story number five in the series. Somehow I'm having problems with the other Covers. *sigh*

As if a lack of comments could ever stop me.:p

For the latest topic in The Dust Jacket: Fanfics Finest we were allowed to pimp a story of our with a picture. So this is me, trying to sweet-talk Jango into coopertaion for about all of my current projects. :p
I did it in a hurry and it looks better small than in original size.[face_blush]

    Here i go round again...

Cover for a short vig about Anakin's raid of the Jedi Temple. The white bit comes from ToS-violating computer incompabilities at work.

    So I need help.
For another cover, I want to merge two pics: the lower, a burning city, and s night sky. But somehow the blending is not as easy as I hoped.
Any suggestions? I tried to copy and paste different bits into different layers, so far.

    EDIT: removed the image...
