    To begin everything this thread is used to discuss Cryptozoology, Zoology, Dinosaurs, and anything else that has to do with science. So to star everything off:

    Zoology News: The jungle found in Indonesia. Tons of new species, and some once thought extinct. And people say creatures of Cryptozoology do not exist, HA!

    Cryptozoology News: The Rat Squirrel reappears after 11 Million Years! Yes, that is right. The Rat Squirrel has been thought to be extinct for the past 11 Million Years, but it has been found. A carcass, but the carcass was genuine. Here is a picture of the animal, but not the carcass:
    http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/photo/postphotos/orb/asection/2006-03-10/5.htm

    Dinosaur News: A Dinosaur fossil of a "Juravenator" was found and skin impressions were also found! But wait, the impressions were of scales, but no feathers! Now scientists say the creature de-evolved. BS. As far as I know, creatures don't de-evolve. They evolve, and keep going. They don't stop and rewind.

    Post your thoughts, pictures, stories, whatever. This thread can get very interesting. I migh get around to posting some pics/stories of more "Darker" Cryptids:)

    Actually there are instances where something will revert to an earlier form. Whales for instance used to be land based animals but they reverted back to sea creatures.

    Well, do you not find it weird that scales and skin tissues can leave impressions but feathers can't? And almost all feathered dinosaur skeletons have come from one area in China? Some Dinosaurs did have feathers, but I do not believe they had them covering their entire bodies like the "supposive" Paleontologists say. Some people say the Dinosaurs did have feathers on their heads, which is believable. But that is far as I'm going!

    Here is a "darker" Cryptid:
    [image=http://tgs.gargoyles-fans.org/art/unseelie/wenfin2.jpg]
    The Wendigo. This animal is almost universally described as being a lanky, 15-foot tall, beast-like phantasm, with glowing eyes, long, yellowed canine teeth, and a hyper-extended tongue. It can attack if it wants, but usually posses people. This is true about Fort Kent, Alberta. In 1920, the Wendigo was terrorizing the town. A doctor came, trying to stop a disease that happened at the same time. It is said he was posessed, killed everyone in the town, and vanished into the woods. A boy returned some days later with medicine to find everyone dead, some half eaten, other had been tied up while this happened. The only wayt to kill the Wendigo is to strangle the person who it had possesed, and the people at Fort Kent had no idea the doctor who had helped so many was about to kill them all.

    Check out this fella:
    [image=http://www.sfgate.com/c/pictures/2006/03/17/dd_morford.jpg]
    The San Francisco Chronicle has reported that an entirely new crustacean was discovered 7,500 feet down in waters 900 miles south of Easter Island in the South Pacific, a creature so unlike anything previously discovered that scientists had to create an entirely new genus for it, Kiwa hirsuta, named after the goddess of crustaceans in Polynesian mythology. This eyeless, albino, crablike animal is about 6 inches long with forearms sticking straight out of its torso and extending twice the length of its body, with those forearms and its legs all covered in a silky blond fur, like something straight out of a medieval bestiary. "It's not a lobster. It's not a crab," said journalist Mark Morford. "It's not anything anyone really understands."

    Poor little Juravenator. Paleontologists have stepped up their attack against him, by blaming the dinosaur for being biased, false, and primitive. Juravenator is pretty much being blamed for existing:( Though I wish I could have seen the faces on the paleos when this little dinosaur was found with scale impressions and no feather impressions:D

    Thats it. Paleontologists are right offs in my book. They have all gone crazy8-} The latest theory on why Dinosaurs died is that they didn't get enough sleep and their brains did not develop. Then the climate of the earth changed and the Dinosaurs couldn't respond. They were in other words, they were dumb. No, I am not joking. This is a real theory.

    Alberta is lucky to have Phil Currie, a Paleontologist who has yet to go insane.

    There are many stories surrounding this photograph. Some say it is an alien. Some say it is a decomposing body.

    The most fascinating account tells of the origin of the photograph taking place in Ras el Khaimah, United Arab Emerates.

    Supposedly, the picture was a piece of evidence in a case involving the death of the same young man who took the picture.

    Apparently, after being warned not to go, the young man went into some deserted caves in Ras el Khaimah to take pictures. He was accompanied by a friend part of the way, and it may have been his friend who warned him not to go into the deserted caves.

    After seeing the flash from the young man's camera, the friend heard him scream. He called to the young man, but getting no answer, went to the police.

    Hours later, they found the young man dead in the cave; he had taken only one picture with his camera - the one above.

    That is not a decomposing body. That is the best evidence of Aliens or Chupacabras I have yet to see. Truly amazing photograph.

    Two days ago a man was attacked by a snake like creature near Lake Okanagon. The man snapped a picture of the beast, that many say is Ogopgo. I have to agree. Take a look for yourself.

    C'mon, that was funny.:p

    This is sickening to read. They found a foot and a claw of a dinosaur--note they only found a foot and a claw--and suddenly they're broadcasting to the world the existence of a brightly colored seven-foot tall turkey dinosaur. What gives. NO FEATHERS WERE PRESERVED, yet they go on to say that he had feathers on his hind end, but he couldn't fly. All this from a foot. Now the stupid journalists are going on and on about turkey-like dinosaurs. They talk about how brightly-colored his feathers were--from a foot. They even talk about the beak, the lifestyle--from a foot. They even said it ran 40 kph--from a foot. They say it was toothless--from a foot. They talk about its powerful arms--from a foot. They even have a reconstruction, with the feathers--from a foot. How did this:
    [image=http://videoimg.ktvx.com/img/thumb_1144204845604_0p4383628912489664.jpg]
    How can that foot, become this ugly thing?:
    [image=http://media.bonnint.net/slc/1/156/15668.jpg]

    Paleontologists are crazy, plain and simple. I am just sticking with my old Dinosaurs with scales.

    Connor, I got more Wendigo stories to tell you sometime. I will tell you at the camping trip, in the middle of the night, when it is dark out, the alleged hunting time of Wendigo creatures.[face_devil] ;) Whatever, I will tell you sometime though if you want to hear them.

    The Great Rift Valley creature, possible Dimetrodon. The Great Rift Valley is in Kenya, which is in Africa. Africa is home to many different prehistoric creature sightings, such a Sauropods and Theorpods. For those not in tune with what those are, Sauropods are long necked Dinosaurs, and Theorpods are guys like T-Rex and Carnotaurus.

    They found a new dinosaur in Argentina. It's a carnivor, was about 40 feet long, and may have hunted in packs. That makes it bigger than T-Rex. Here is the story.

    Mapusaurus. That is a dog by a life size Mapusaurus head. He may have been a pack hunter, which is interesting. Normally large predators wouldn't hunt together, at least not often.

    That makes three bigger than T-Rex, Giganotosaurus and Spinosaurus. I don't mind Gigianto, but Spino, well, I shall rant later on why I despise this Dinosaur and a certain scene in JP///.

    T-Rex forever!:D

    This so-called South American "Nessie" has enthralled the world press since it first hit the scene in 1922... a full 11 years before the first modern appearance of the Loch Ness Monster.

    Do you believe the pictures are fake........or real?

    There are tons of sightings of different Aquatic-Enigmas throughout the United States and occasionally Canada. They are real creatures. I have said this before, and I am going to say it again:

    A jungle in Indonesia was found, with TONS of new species. Some of them were thought to be extinct. A second expedition to the jungle is supposed to happen this year, and I can say 100%, that more species will be found. I will not be a bit surprised if Dinosaurs are found as well.

    So to say that there is nothing left is silly. I believe that there are many man-like creatures out there, some hairy, and others reptilian.
