I just watched the trailer in that link... I TOTALLY SPOTTED YOU! Nice.
Ok POSSABLE BIG NEWS.
I got a call from my buddy Joe Estevez (Yes, Martin Sheen's brother), and he said that the movie he's acting in had one of their leads drop out and a spot was open. I said great, hook me up. He call the casting director and TOTALLY hyped me up. I have an audition on Tuesday.
This is a LEAD ROLE in a FEATURE FILM, aka I get put into SAG, and get $645 a day (possably more).
Ok, now here comes a rare moment...for those who are religous, I ask you to pray for me, for those who aren't...wish to the force that I nail this part...
Congrats on the audition, Jon!
I'll be praying for you.
You know I got your back. Of course I'll be praying for you.
AGH! I've been fooled! Actually missinformed.
It turns out that this is NOT a major motion picture, it's a low budget indi film, no pay, no sag, gggrrrrr...BUT ANYWAYS...
I went to the audition, the casting director LOVED me, and said..."Well, you know I still have to audition other people, and can't tell you for sure that you have the part...but take Joe's script and know the part. I'll call you on Saturday."
If I get it, I will do it. Because the Indi films keep getting noticed and their leads getting noticed. So, if Joe's in it, then that moves it up to the "More likely to be seen" notch. And I get to act with Joe so he'll see my talent in work and keep me in mind for the BIG stuff.
Thanks for all your prayers and "Go get em" 's.

Hey man, work is work...the more people see you work, the better. I'm doing PR for Big Brothers Big Sister...1 because I believe in their cause, and 2 I hope someone notices me and gives me a frell-ing job!
May the Force be with the Mullet!
Jon, I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers. You've got the fire inside (no smart remarks, Brian) and that should take you far! Oops! We're all supposed to be nice and I think that might be interpreted as being mean to Brian. I'm not being sarcastic either. Sorry, Brian.
Good Luck with the part and don't forget the little people when you're a SUPERSTAR!!!
AGH! HOLLYWOOD! AGH! :: ripps hair out::
Ok, talked with Joe, he said this IS a paying gig, and to ask for $100 a day. grrr...typical hollywood people trying to get free work....
Anyways....I got another gig too today! It's for VH-1, I'm still in price nigotiations right now, but it's a one day shoot, and it's for a re-enactment of a sceen out of Brad Pitt's life. Wo-HO!
You're obviously not playing Brad Pitt.
Good news on both fronts
You're obviously not playing Brad Pitt
I HAVE been told I look like him(when my hair was longer). But no, I'm not playing him, I'm playing his room mate who's a writter and I get pissed off and break off his side mirror on his car...sweet, getting paid to act AND destroy stuff.
well, up and down, up and down, come ride the roller coaster of Hollywood. I turned down the independent flick because.
A. There is no pay and I'd have to pay for gas to drive 3 hours a day to and from the shoot.
B. This director has no idea what she's doing.
C. The script sucks.
D. There's NO PAY!
Even Joe said "If she's not going to pay you, I'm off the project, she has no clue what she's doing".
So there you have it. Well, at least I'm still doing the VH-! thing andf I have an audition for a tv pilot on tuesday. BAH!
The Princess Diaries 2 pictures have arrivied...click on the pics below to see the hilarity!
Hehehehehhe..... Nice pictures.
Jon in Church clothes?!
Hey, if you can keep the costume, that black shirt resembles Neo's pretty well. You could be well on your way to creating a One costume.
I liked the first movie
Eric, see my post in the "JEDI Robes" thread.
I liked the first movie too. Anne Hathaway = HOTCHIE MOTCHIE.
Ok, I did the VH1 gig on March 5th. Went great, EXTREMELY FEATURED. It's a VH1 pilot called "Auto-Biographies". Hopefully it will get picked up. I'll have some pics soon of my character.
BTW...Geoff and I just saw Hidalgo yesterday...and we saw you in the back!!
Cool beans. How was the movie?
Movie was great! And your scene was right at the beginning...you can't miss it. I kept waiting for you to wave at the camera like you sneaked on the set and nobody noticed
VIVA LA MULLET!
