We pretty much have meats and desserts covered--chips too.

Don will be sending me a map of the parking areas of the Park that he has numbered, which I will post later. He told me the park opens at 7am, and that he will be there then, to secure a good spot, then he will call me, and I'll try to get my butt down there to help hold some parking spots for Dennis' smoker.

We will start calling people who's numbers we have, say, around 9ish, to tell them what lot to park in. We both have numbers for Rachel, Lesley, Kim and Josie, Emily, Lloyd, Mark, Liz. I have Carrie's number, and Marc's (G-Force) and Chris's and Carole's, so I'll call them. The people who have the numbers of the other on the list can call them, or they will just have to find us.

Actually, Don said I could post his cell #, which is 714 403-5487. I said I would help call people, that way, everyone won't be trying to call him at the same time, when they get to the Park.

He also wanted everyone to know that there is a $5 parking fee for the Park.

There is some street parking on Edinger, Euclid and Warner, but parking on the street is iffy, at best. There are areas of No Parking, and the spots that are open can fill up fast. You could also end up being pretty far from our Picnic site. It's worth the $5 to park close.

 

Here is my cell # 619-884-3514. I have no problem driving up on the grass if needed. Keep me posted on Saturday.

 

Looks like Cherie and I will be able to go, unless they add a "Singing Bee" workday this weekend, so please list us for 2 (Cherie and Mary) and we'll do pasta salad, or ?. We'll bring dough for meatsies.

Zhi-Don and Jedi Loreen I am planning on leaving from Torrance between 7&8am to help you both with the setup, my van is a MiniRV and has a sink and a fridge that are availible as needed. Also there may be a couple of Maybe People and of course Darth Heidi the Sith Dachshund.

Man you guys got a big guest list!! I have two things I have to go to on Sat in the morning and night so there's no way I can run up to the event and run back down to San Diego. Poo poo. Oh well, next time!

As for introducing the lil guy to people, I'll just keep an eye out for any events coming up soon. Hopefully costumed events, since he'll love that.

 

Boom too bad you can't make it hope to see you at the next event and I and a few Fellow Jedi have been Force Persuading the weather to be nice, So it shouldn't Rain.
