I used to host most of our old JO games when Patt/Billy/Bex/Homer/Me played oh so frequently, as we used lots of random maps and skins. It worked fairly well for us.

So, I can host when I can make it to those games.

Lots of gamers have 56K including myself. It's irrelevant on the older games like JK and GBG, and even with the newer games as long as there is a dedicated server. But it is nigh impossible for me at least to play JO or anything more recent if someone is hosting. I think it's a 56k thing though. Unfortunately. Maybe we can find some nice empty servers though. Kinda like we did for Battlefront, though our innocently empty server sort of decided to fill up once we arrived.

And Riley of course you can continue joining for as long as you can put up with us!

 

Should have 2MBPS broadband early next year, SFL, once we move to a bigger flat. And if you're gonna live with us you'll be able to tap into the house network too.

I've always wanted to do a 8-player GBG free-for-all that would take all day and see who comes out the winner

 

I doubt it would take all day, but that would be pretty fun.

 

I'm up for that too.....GBG is so awesome. Reminds me of my AoK/AoC days <waxes nostalgic>

I'm more partial to Battlefront these days, but a 8-player GBG game would be fun. We might not want to go with random teams this time though.

Any dialup users should know the fun that JK is when played using a modem. Lagsabers on BGJ is something that all true gaming fans should experience.

 

Gah! Heh 7 vs. 1 is a bit much.

 

I always play JK with a modem. Depending on the host and where he's located, usually it's not too laggy until you get up to 4+ players. Then sometimes it gets hairy. Sometime VERY hairy.

I didn't know there were dedicated JK servers? If so, BRING THEM ON!!!!

 

Put me down for JK, Mots, JO, Force Commander, XvT, XwA, Supremacy.

Oh, and I'm rather handy with a game of CS:S, Rise of Nations or Neverwinter if anyone's interested.

 

I meant a free-for-all, no rules, no teams. You could conspire and team up in the game, but in the end there must be only one victor

 

I think I have Neverwinter on my wishlist, so I might get that for Christmas. SC, you have AIM, right? For some reason I don't have your AIM.

 

If there is Neverwinter, I will be there no matter the time, date, or even if I've been shot.

Maybe a slight exaggeration, but I'm always up for NWN.

I've been getting back into Quake 3 if you want to add that to the list. Love that game for a quick blast. Other then that, I can play Outcasts, Battelgrounds, hell i have tetris worlds too

 

Me, SC, and Aragorn seem like the NWN freaks. Unfortunately, I lost my CD key so I have to use a fake one. I think it won't let me play online.

 

My dog had eaten the disk before I rebought the game so I could keep playing.

I gave the old cd key to a friend so he could play online again after he got banned...


...but he doesn't play anymore. I'll see if I can get it back from him to give you the copy.

 

That would be cool Aragorn. Then we can test my module in game and you could all point out what I need to work on.

I had my Halo icon for the Halloween iconfest, and they took it down when the banners changed back.

So, no icon if it can't be Halo.

Though, as I also mention, I'll probably stop bothering to not have an icon when KotOR 2 hits...


...though I'm fickle, so I have no idea.


Did get Halo 2 the first day, but not at the midnight thing, due to school.
