No I don't have a nig chin. And for starters my hair is ginger (though it's starting to go brown which is pissing me off). Plus, my hair is short not a big blonde mop (though it used to be a big blonde mop)

I've recently gotten Barenaked Ladies new album, Maroon..not bad..Pinch Me is the only decent track though...definately not as good as Stunt, despite what the cover says...

Cass, what do you mean, Shane?!?!

Poodu, any chance of a link to the Brittania Music website where I can sign up for this introductory deal?

Laura, I looked for it in HMV for My Vitriol's album and it wasn't there. I'm pretty sure it's not out yet.

Does anyone know when Turin Brakes' single, The Door, comes out?

I like all kinds of music but mostly rock and indie. I'll have to have a think about my favourite ten albums of the nineties and come back to this thread!

Thanks for the welcome Bash. Its good to see so many people from the UK who are into Star Wars. I have been posting at some other forums but they're all American and I didn't really feel welcome.

OK this is not in order and very similar to most of your lists too:

    - "What's the Story Morning Glory?" by Oasis

    - "In It for the Money" by Supergrass

    - "All Change" by Cast

    - "Hup" by the Wonderstuff

    - "Nevermind" by Nirvana

    - "Word Gets Around" by Stereophonics

    - "The Stone Roses" by the Stone Roses

    - "OK Computer" by Radiohead

    - "Blur" by Blur

    - "The Charlatans" by the Charlatans

    - "Definitely Maybe" by Oasis

I've listed 11 albums in case Stone Roses need to be removed for being released in 1989. :)

Hey Cass you'll love this. I was sitting in my acccounts lecture today and there were these tossers behind me that I had never even seen before that kept commenting on how much like Van Der Geek I looked like (quotage "Oh My God, we're sitting behind James Van Der Beek"). It was so embarrassing, partly because I was embarrassed at myself for lugging into someone else's conversation

Poods, did you have any trouble with the Brittania website? It's playing up...it won't accept my application. The search buttons and stuf aren't working, but when I move my cursor around, it turns in to a ahnd where the buttons should be, so it is still working. I've selected my six CDs and filled out my details but I can't find the button to press to submit my application. :(

EDIT: I've found it, but it told me that the service is temporarily unavailble. It worked for you didn't it, Poods?

OK, I've managed to do it at home. Doing it over the internet is much beter than by post. A lot cheaper, plus an extra CD! :)

    My six were:

Black Box Recorder - The Facts Of Life
    Black Sabbath - Best Of
Elvis Presley - 50 Greatest Hits
    Embrace - Drawn From Memory
    Motorhead - Best Of
PJ Harvey - Stories From the City, Stories from The Sea

All I have to do now is buy six at least albums in the next two years...shouldn't have too many problems there. ;)

Black Box Recorder is really good if you can stand Sarah Nixey's snooty singing accent (especially the Art of Driving). And of course, any PJ Harvey album is good ;)

I love Sarah Nixey's voice, although I've only properly heard one Black Box Recorder track (Facts Of Life). I saw them at Reading but I wasn't paying much attention to their music...Sarah Nixey kind of had me in a trance. ;)
