    anything by "air."

they're also one of the few things from france i think are worthwhile. sorry if anyone out there is french or partial to the french. it's not so much related to current events.......i happen to be descended from french lineage myself and maybe i have some self-loathing issues to work out, dunno.

also, the primal scream track "trainspotting" tends to put me in a coma. i'd suggest enya, but i really don't like enya. she's relaxing, but i think i'd just stay awake thinking about how much i don't like her if i heard that damn "carribean blue' song again.

I'm a big fan of No Name Face, the entire album by Lifehouse. When I used to need music to fall asleep to, I would put that on every night. Some parts a little heavy, but after months of listening to it, you fall asleep easily.

Some of the music from teh game Medal of Honour Allied Assault is rather nice; I especially like the music in North Africa. African tribal music + European stuff.

Another excellent artist to fall asleep to is John Mayer. His melodic, soft lyrics and great overall guitar style is something that knocks you out sooo quickly.

I always listen to Suzanne Vega when I want to sleep. She usually has slow and quiet songs, so it is very good to sleep to, and she did some really beautiful songs at that.

    Tangerine Dream - Phaedra

If you really don't concentrate to the music you will fall asleep. But the album really is so good you should try to listen it at least once.

I generally don't care for music to have a backround role, I prefer to give even hypnotic instrumentals my full attention but Eric Satie's piano compositions were simply made to lull you to sleep.

I listen to John Williams when I sleep.
Usually my Greatest Hits CD, or I put on the three main Indiana Jones songs. I always put them on really quietly, so they are more of background music.

    All you need is love!

Lately I've been listening to Edge of Sanity when I go to sleep. It results in some rather strange dreams.
