What are all you guys into?

 

Red Hot Chilli Peppers , Star War's soundtrack, of course . Powderfinger , Foo Fighters, Queen, Culture Club , Kylie Minogue, Britney Speares , Nirvana, Guns and Roses, AC/DC, Vanessa Carlton, Avril Lavigne. The list goes on .

I like everything but teenybopper and opera.

 

Yeah I agree! Except for maybe Britney But that's kewl... I'm totally into the alternative scene myself and a heap of Ministy of Sound stuff.

Foo Fighters is my absolute fav!!! Also, heaps more alternative... Green Day, Blink 182, Everclear, Ben Folds Five, Silverchair, Thrid Eye Blind, Tonic and Fuel.

Others of my favs include... Natalie Imbruglia, Jewel, Limp Bizkit, Ataris, Smashing Pumpkins and Rage Against the Machine (the old stuff anyway).

What kinda music share programs do you have?

 

Not all of those bands you listed are what you'd call alternative.

And Foo Fighters are one of my favorite bands too

I will listen to anything and everything... Needless to say some albums in my collection are pretty scary

Ok then... is anyone into Mowtown? You know... Jackson 5, Diana Ross... and all that stuff?

 

Don't have any of thier stuff but I listen to them if they come on the radio, although being that I am Triple J listener that doesn't happen often if rarely at all.

 

Triple J is most awesome, I don't think many radio stations these days acutally play Mowtown on a regular basis. But really, it's a great style of music that should be brought back!

Just recently 'The Sound Bluntz' just did a remix of Michael Jackson's 'Billy Jean' So I guess it's the only way the style is going to be revived! Although the dance versions of old songs are usually better than the originals!
