My best friend has become a Dad!!

In regards to the subsection of the thread "Welcome to the Literature Forum" titled Celebration threads, I believe that this is allowed:

My best friend, Daniel Simmons has become a Dad!!!

He is the first out of my circle of friends that I grew up with through High School that has become a parent.

Daniel and his girlfriend, Julie McGrath, have had a baby boy, who they have named Riley Alexander Simmons. I can't wait to see the baby when I get home from holidays!

 

Oh! Brilliant news! This *certainly* deserves a celebration! You'll be *so* thrilled for him!

It actually feels wierd, that one of my best friends is now a parent... means that I am getting older!

And oh yeah, I might have forgotten to announce to my online friends, but my younger sister is pregnant also! She is due March 30th next year.

By boss also had a baby about six weeks ago... there must be something in the water!

 

Yeah, it sure *will* feel weird! My best friend from as far back as junior school is due to get married next June, and I know how utterly strange that feels to me lol!

Yes it is, I am going to be an uncle!

I felt well old when my step sister first had a baby - scary! She's got two now...

At least not before another ten years for me though - I'm still a kid myself, how am i supposed to look after another one?
