Recently someone asked me if they could come round and see my collection, a question I get asked a lot.

Problem was, the guy was in Germany!

Seems he's coming over on a holiday and he's heard about my collection and wants to see how it compares to his.

So....rather than having some strange guy in the house (well someone stranger than me!), I set up a web site for him to visit.

I thought some of you might like to take a look as well so here it is.

Sorry to say it's on FREESERVERS so you have to put up with the ads and the banner.

I will be adding more pics as soon as I can get my camera to work again.

Yeah the pop up ads are a pain.

I've gotta say it all looks pretty good. Did you add a display section down the middle of the main room as I'm seeing sections that appear to be new? If so, then it's come out really well.

I take it the PC is located in the spare room, BTW, thanks for the complimentary reference :)

Actually playing some of those old games on Win 95 would be cool, especially games like Dark Forces and TIE Fighter which were ace. Well done dude.

Added a display stand to the centre of the main room last month, I think it works pretty well.

The "Spare Room" is no longer a SPARE room, it's been absorbed! :)

    "Size matters not"

It's not the size of the collection that counts, it's the heart that goes into the collecting phase that counts.

Some of the smaller collections have just a many interesting and unique items in them....because the collections are made with heart.

Ok, the last five are this years birthday gifts from my husband. The custom Kyp Durron came from Toddi for my birthday! And Quin gave me R2KT! :D

I like the Master works print collection, that looks mega cool. Funnily enough because I read it sideways I thought it said "Feeling the Star Destroyer" until I realised it was "Fleeing the Star Destroyer" :)

I think the coins are pretty groovy as well.

The Lithographs are really lovely, but there are way to many to frame and put up in my home! And I'm terrified of getting marks on them so they are stored away in their metal case....one day maybe. I also plan to sew the patches on my SW Jacket, but after my husband has forgotten he told me not too! :p

I like my coins too....but I have to be honest, my fav piece by far is my Custom Kyp Durron [face_love]

Where did the patches come from? I've not see the ANH or the ESB style before.

LOL! Naw, he's been home several times, although at this time of year its common for him to be late :p I just forgot.

I asked and he says they were inside the Lithographs box, all part of one collection. He wont tell me the $$ value. ;)

Yeah they look mega cool. It's funny because they produced a stack of patches for the OT but they never made any for the PT (except ROTS).

See I'm a collector of patches but not to display them. I have a special jacket I sew them onto and it always bugged me that the TPM and AOTC never had patches released, hence the reason why I was surprised when I saw your pic.

So I guess this means that if I got hold of this lithograph box I'd be getting the scissors out :)

Actually I just checked eBay and some of these are available for sale (though not cheap), so I need to know. Are these patches REMOVABLE?

    LMK if ya can.

I got that set too, the patches just have a little bit of velcro on the back.

Thanks for that. I've had a look at them on eBay but the prices are too high as people are selling them with the posters and other sets. Essentially all I want are the 4 x patches (ROTJ and ROTS I have) but I'm not prepared to pay like $70+ for them.

I'll just have to keep my jeepers peepers open.

That would be a Free SW Christmas.

For once this year my wife didn't have any problems buying me SW stuff for Christmas. :)

I haven't been able to spend as much on collectable this year (I hope Goerge didn't notice, he'll drop me from his Christmas Card list) so my alternate half was able to go out and buy SW related gifts without having to ask me first if I'd already picked one up.

So now comes the task on changing the collection rooms around to make room for all the new stuff....woooohooo.

With all the TCW stuff that's now out - a lot of which is in some pretty big packaging - I'm not surprised you'll need to make some room.
