Not only have you done a superb job at authentically recreating a most challenging costume, you have also been a source of inspiration with the documentation of your process as posted on you web sight.
A run-on sentence? Perhaps. But it is written in earnest.
Wonderful job, Doctor.

I tip my hat off to you Mirax, what a great job!!
You were kind enough to suggest that I get a Rubbies helmet for my own mandalorian costume. Can I assume that's your Rubbies helmet in the pics? If so, what a great job modding the bucket!
I'm Fett Fatale over at TDH, and I think I will have to get your advise as I come across any problems with my own costume.

Again Mirax, what a excellent costume!!!

Thank you everyone! I'm really proud that I puuled this one off. I know when I started, I really had my doubts as to if I would ever get it done and if it would look like the real deal. I'm so thrilled with the results and can't wait to show it off! And yes, that is the Rubies helmet :) And I'm happy to help you out with anything as you move along with your costume!

very cool outfit, About the helmet, was the t visor one solid rap around part or is it like a don post helmet where the t visor is smaller ?

The original visor only came part way down so a new one had to be installed. I'm not sure If I answered what you were asking or not.

Very nice, Mirax. I guess I'll have to be more careful about knocking on the chest armor of any Jango Fetts I see at Dragon*Con, since that's sometimes hard for me to resist :p. That or rapping on their buckets. I'm sure I'm not the only one who annoys the "armored ones" in that way. I know Stormtroopers get it, too.

I saw MMM's (from TDH. I post there occassionally as FemmeFettale) armor this weekend and couldn't resist knocking on the chest armor because I knew he's made it out of aluminum, not some kind of plastic. A very solid feel, to be sure.
