pretty good, i can't quite place what is wrong with it. You kind of have like an echo reverb kinda thing right, i think the real vader voice is almost like it is in a tin can.

    Am i making any sence?

Yeah your right, I did kinda up the echo. But its the voice that matters.

The breathing at the same time as the voice kinda doesn't make sense, but... :D

I actually am about to download the voices but I think it's possible that Vader's suit breathes for him. Maybe when he breathes faster it is because he moves faster and his suit has to do more stuff for him causing it to breath more heavily. And also he wasn't breathing like that in ROTJ when the mask was taken off. Just my theory.

I'm sorry, but in defense for Ben (which i have used him for my audio drama, Resurrection) is NOT OVER RATED. He is great at what he does. And he doesn't do a whole lot of mixing with his voice. It's naturally that close sounding.

I'm guessing that was sarcasm, given the little :p smiley after it.

Not too bad. Maybe want to make it just a little deeper. Also, don't make him breath at the same time.

(Even if the suit was breathing for him, in order to talk he can't be breathing.)

Please post if you update. I like the direction it's headed.

    Not bad at all.

I think there are points in the OT movies where Vader is breathing and speaking at the same time. I'll have to watch them all over again to confirm, but I seem to remember noticing that once, so that actually be canon.

    Suggestions...
In the first clip, I think you voice rises in pitch at the begining of some words. I don't think James E Jones does that.

    Have fun.

I think you're on the right track, but make sure you pronounce each word clearly and slowly. I think you're rushing just a little bit. It will feel funny to you (and it may sound funny too) but I think the end result will be slightly better.

Not bad. Voice should be a little deeper and words more defined. The breathing should be a tiny bit slower, and quieter. The main part of the sound should be the lines, not the breathing.

umm, no offense, but that sounds like that voice that that kid from Home Alone 2 made with his toy.

It sounded like you just pitch shifted your voice digitally to make it lower or you slowed down an audio clip to give it the lower pitch. Ben actually sounds like that without much digital touch up, which is awesome. Keep working on it! It sounds pretty good, just needs refining. :)

I think that vadervoice2.wav is decent for just a test, but i dont think that vadervoice.wav is very good. You rushed a bit in it, I think.

The vadervoice2 clip is slowed down very very slightly, 97% speed. But the other clip is all me. Hahah homealone. I loved that movie.

Ok I am 14 years old.

Doesnt seem like it would come from someone like me.
