My Empire Strikes Back Break Down!

This is just my personal take on the best Star Wars film ever!

This is the best of them!

Vader is at his Best.


Yoda is an innovative and interesting new character which captures the audience and is a great addition.

Alec gives another grand performance as Obi-Wan.

Han and Leia's story is exciting!

I would have liked to see Vader kill a few rebel officers on Hoth.

I would also liked to see Lando to get into a fight with boba on the landing platform when the bounty hunter takes Han. They could have had a rocket pack battle like Jango on Kamino.

More combat in cloud city would have been nice.

Chewie and the droids are classics in this film.

Luke makes a good transformation.

Seeing more cloud city would be good.

The hologram Emperor should be changed to have Ian MacDiarmid.

Palpatine should have another scene in the Imperial Capital as he plans with advisors the Death star plot to destroy the rebels it would be a nice connection with ROTJ.

Arkbar should have a cameo on the rebel ship at the end.

The film is a great movie!

 

Absolutely amazing. I'm sure we would have seen a lot of stuff different if the PT was done at the time, but ESB is the greatest SW movie of all time.

 

Definitely a great movie, although I don't really prefer it above the others.

My favourite moment in the film is when Luke confronts Vader and confidently ignites his lightsaber. The first time I saw it in the cinema back in 1980 I think I was literally sitting on the edge of my seat.

I would also liked to see Lando to get into a fight with boba on the landing platform when the bounty hunter takes Han. They could have had a rocket pack battle like Jango on Kamino.

Sounds like a great idea, though I wonder if we would have seen Lando in Return of the Jedi if he got into a fight with Boba.

 

Yeah, I love the difference between Luke's eager battle stance, and Vader casually activating his lightsabre. Very nice. Arr.

 

it was good musically also. ie, it introduced to us the Imperial March, arguably the most recognised SW theme. it is very powerful too.

 

Empire has got to be my all time favorite Star Wars flim in the whole saga.
