My first custom saber

Hi, I recently started on my first custom hardware saber. I've made replicas of Vader's and Luke's ESB saber, but I've never made one of my own before this. I have it all planned out except for the emitter. Pretty much the entire chrome tail piece is covered by the two hand grips and control box, so i wanted the emitter to be chrome, but I need it to stick out from the rest of the tube, since everything else sticks out about 1/16" What I'd like is something a bit like the chrome MPP emitter on Parks Sabers, but made out of hardware, without using any paint. I've been racking my brain trying to think of something useable, but can't come up with anything.
