My JC New Year's Resolution

I am actually looking forward to the books, bit more Harry potter

 

So... there'll be a Harry Potter books thread in one forum, and a Harry Potter films thread in the other? Where does that leave discussion comparing the two...? Back in the AMP / JCC? Or will the rules be slack enough to allow some crossover?

 

There will inevitably be similar threads.

This is wonderful! I am sick for a couple days, a couple people get modded, and two new forums become the hot topic! I can't wait to see all the Firefly/Serenity love that that place could hold. I have an idea for a newb mod for this forum. Should I PM my suggestion to you all on this one, or are you already in talks about that?

<li> The television and films banner is uploaded with a beautiful completed stylesheet.
<li> Gabe informed me we may have a Books & Comics banner as early as Monday.
<li> Welcome threads for the two new forums are pretty much done.
<li> The mods for the forum may be announced this morning.

This is a truly great idea I'm a huge fan of Harry Potter and other fantasy stuff and after seeing Narnia -- have the feeling that will be yet another addiction So I'm really glad to see that this forum will be taking off

 

Great way to diversify the JC and give it an appeal that is much broader

But no. Looks like my spare time will be dominated by the JC once again.



Brilliant idea, by the way. The JC had been lacking a dominant board (in my opinion, at least) since shortly after the release of RotS. Tying in other subjects in an organized manner is a great way to keep interest up.

Great forum idea, now, about fulfilling my destiny...

...nevermind. I have a serious question. Will the forum include discussion of user-created sci-fi/fantasy? For example, what if I post a thread to gather critique about some of my sci-fi pieces?

Is it to early to start putting my name in for official threads and games? If so I wanna put my name in for a General Fantasy/Sci-Fi version of my Star Wars: EUC Survivor Thread. (celebrating its 5th season in a month ) Basically I compile a list of the most important/famous Sci-Fi Fantasy series, movies, books, comics, etc. and people vote, 3 votes against one and they are off the list and voting resets, rinse and repeat. Also, would possibly a Writers Guild for aspiring sci-fi/fantasy authors or even extending to screen-writers or aspiring sci-fi/fantasy moviemakers qualify for the forums? And what day do the forums open?
