Bloom, IN My next Star Wars Tattoo

Well I have decided on what to get for my 4th Star Wars Tattoo. I am going with a red cartoon Clone Wars Clone commander. I am hoping to have it done before C3.

Well I have been combing the net for a good cartoon network Clone commander,But I just cant seem to find one that would be good for the tat artist to use as a transfer. I'll keep looking.

 

Owwwie...... ermmm.... No offense, but a quick question.... *grin*

When you're seventy, and your clone commander is all faded and saggy, what will you say to your grandkids?
I've never seen a Tattoo more than 5 or 10 years old that still looked cool, otherwise I would get a bantha skull.... But the idea of permanently etching something into my flesh isnt quite so appealing to me.....

And it probably smarts like crazy.

 

Oh ya I wont lie.It hurts like CRAZY!
But I dont figure I will live to be 70 anyways.

I do not, but it doesn't bother me...I find the process interesting and the artwork astonishing in a lot of cases. I just wouldn't do it myself. I do not want to express myself in that nature.

Thats cool Dennis. To tell the truth, Up until 3 years ago , I was DEAD set against them. But somehow it got in my head I wanted to express my love for Star Wars & I got the small rebel Alliance tattoo on my ankle. I loved it so much I wanted another....and another...What they say is true. Once you get one you want more. Ya its painfully, but I enjoy them very much & the 30 to 45 min of moderate pain out wights the years of enjoyment I get out of them. I don't expect anyone's approval from them,I have them ..like I said to express my love for SW.

I think he is saying he would ware a shirt to show his love for SW insted of a tattoo. I do both!

 

Ohhhh, I thought that he meant that he would wear a shirt to cover up a tattoo if he had one. Well, I guess it was in the context??

I have 8 tattoo's , 4 of which are Related to star wars,
Left arm:
Rebal insignia
My full name in aurebush
The imperial symbol with a little tribal
On my back:
A huge black sun symbol which covers most of my back!


My advice if your going to get a tat... Make sure it's what you want...don't let anyone put something you don't absolutly like on you... also, look for a tattoo artist that has a good reputation, good equipment and a clean shop. If you have any doubts don't get it done, go home and think about it.
As far as the pain... after the first couple of minutes probly won't even bother you...

I know your all in anticipation over what I get for my next Tat.
Well the choice has got me at a deadlock.
I don't want to make it too elaborate because of Price.
So I have narrowed it down to:

Young Ben
Old Ben
Kir Kanos
Clone Wars Yoda
Clone Wars Blue Clone Commando
Boba Fett
If I cant get one according to my budget, I'll wait till late summer so I can save $$$ after C3.

 

Made my mind up last night.
Found a great drawing of Boba Fett.
Hoefully it wont cost me a arm and a leg ..so to speak. Let you know when I get it.

Just got back from my Tat artist. I am getting a portrait of Boba Fett done Friday at 1pm. I'll show everyone at next Fridays meeting.

Got my tattoo today.Its bitch'n to say the least. Hell ,Tammy even likes it!!!!
When it heal's I send a pic to everyone.

Now the question everyone asks... did it hurt?

 

HELL YES IT HURT!
It took 2 hrs .
And it feels like razor blades going over your skin.Dint sleep much last night because of discomfort,But over all It is worth it to me.
