I don't really know what to say. I have about a million different versions of this and this is the one I like the best. There are others with land in the foreground, more debris in the water and whatnot.

    Hope you like it.

Alternate version, eh? I'd love to see 'em, too... :D

And you know my thoughts on this from DA. Brilliant, just brilliant! [face_peace]

Whoa, that's fabulous!! =D= Emotion in art is one of the things that really snags me, and this piece has it in bundles: so much poignancy, with the wreckage jutting out of the water, the birds/avians fluttering around it, and the water so calm and undisturbed...no one in the water...perhaps no one survived the impact... So sad--and that's what gives this piece it's power: that emotional punch! Great job with the silhouetted wreck, the light and the sky, and the reflection on the water--just wonderful! =D=

Well, Corran. If you don't mind - I prefer only showing you the final product :p Thanks again btw

And thanks TheOnlyJediPrincess! I'm sure I've said this before, but it's always nice to see new people being introduced to my stuff for the first time :D

And thank YOU FF, I'm glad you liked. I'm also happy to hear you get the very same feeling and mood that I was trying to establish with this piece.

    cheers everybody

Thanks Princess :D I'm glad you liked it. The idea I was going for was this sort of "ravaged beauty" if you know what I mean?

Hot, Gustaf. Veeeery hot. =P~ Love the pose, the tattoos, her clothes, the brilliant colors and shading. Once again, reminds me a lot of Jan Durseema's work. =D=

Not sure about her face, tho, the mouth looks a bit odd. But you got my vote fo sure, bro. [face_mischief]

Thanks Dave. I'm glad that the only thing that doesn't look right is the face, because I knew that. It had been worse if you had pointed out something else that I thought was fine. I removed a shadow beneath the mouth which was left from another version with different lighting. I also tweaked the eyes a bit. The face isn't great but I had no reference whatsoever and the deadline was today, so...

The mouth might still be a bit off though :p

    Again, thanks!

PS. I'm saving everything on my external HD now. DS.

I was browsing the web trying to find a hand writing version of the Aurabesh but all I found was a really crappy one. So I believe I'm first with a serious attempt at this!

I tried to figure out how you would write Aurabesh if you did so fast. And it's sort of a hybrid between male and female hand writing (women tend to have smoother curves in their letters) so this could be the writing by pretty much anyone.

If you use this in an artwork or anything you don't have to credit me if you don't want to. But it'd be cool if you could notify me so I could see this really come to use.

    Aurabesh font

    [image=http://fc02.deviantart.com/fs22/f/2007/331/f/d/Mission__s_swoop_by_CucumberBoy.jpg]

This is what Mission Vao's swoop would have looked like if she had one. She probably got one after she became a Republic soldier... I guess. This is somewhat based on the swoops you can drive in KOTOR, so I really can't take full credit for the overall design but it's drawn from scratch and by what I remember of the general looks of the swoop in the game.

This was a request from a guy over at the Star Wars Artists' Guild - in this picture, his character Jav Boran, who lived during the Legacy era, had his ship parked on Tatooine. The ship is just a modified VT49 which I believe can be found in Star Wars Galaxies? Anyway, hope you like it... :D
