    Here is another poster concept.

This is not final but for now I will be putting this one on hold as I have other projects I really need to get back too.

So here is what I have and one day I will come back and finish it (in colour ).

Vader himself is a image composite (from ANH), the rest are 3D meshes (Stormtrooper by JJ Palamo) and I painted in the smoke, debris and damage on the door way.

These are nicely done. The DOF adds a nice touch to the composition too. Viewing all these together, you could make a story out of them about everyone's favourite astromech :)

For the last two, there was a hiccup with displaying the images as the URL given wasn't the right one. I've fixed them up for you.

    Thanks,

I always wanted to do a series of funny images of R2 and others getting themselves into all sorts of bother :) so may have to get onto that one day! :)

Here is the sandcrawler, I did this render as a backdrop banner for UKR2builders; it measures 6x3 metres (rendered at 10k) :)

Some great stuff here. Always jealous of anyone that's got their head around proper 3D stuff (and are using it exactly for what I would too - playing Star Wars!).

Keep up the great work :)

I do love these new shots.

The scale of the sand crawler is fantastic. I love both shots you got. Was it a blend of photography with the model or the entire environment sculpted, textured and lit virtually?

Great to see Artoo again, (that panel where both he and BB-8 was brought out was unbelievable). Nice touch how you got an out of focus impression of the Falcon hallway as background to accompany the reflection on the photoreceptor dome of that moment. Maybe make it a touch more 'warmer' to feel more connected to that scene.

The Slave 1 reminds me of the model kits they used to bring out. The lighting and composition has that vintage feel to it.

    Thanks :)

The sandcrawler shot, the environment was a photomash of various landscapes composited with the sandcrawler model.

A few more shots done :)
