my very first

    so yea im 14 and currently attend school in selma california.....i no what ure thinking "not another one of those first model topics"...i agree....but...ive been using 3dsmax for about 2 weeks now at school and i decided to make a mustafar model......ive seen other people do this but yea this is my first attempt....i composited in ae....with pixels's matte ....please leave me some positive feedback cause i want to improve on this alot......thanks

    not bad stevend....Obviously, you are learning Max and believe me, as anyone will agree, Max is a huge program to learn. It appears that the model isn't quite finished yet, but it is off to a good start. Keep up the good work and make sure to update often.

    how did you do that lava ? [face_hypnotized] These are my first renders, I have about the same expierence as you, but your's looks better somehow :p (And I know the lamp is hovering...)

    Hey, looking good so far. A lot better then the stuff I was doing when I first started learning 3d studio max. I tended to try and stick with modeling spheres and cubes in the beginning.

    good job!

    same here, you're much better than i was after 2 weeks of using. All i could do was rendering out others's 3d stuff from scifi3d XD XD XD.

    Your learning really fast, keep it up. All i can say is digg out as much tutorials on internet as you can, and go through them, even if their not really about whats your doing.

    hej Stevend, i was wondering how you did the pathern on the floor of the walkway, I see a lot more people doing that, but do you just add different shapes to it or what ? :

    looks very good keep it up

    i think i just made a plane then added somr booleaned prisims to it.......just followed the pattern i saw in my ref pics.....
