Just got my water bill, with an envelope asking me to donate to "Water Aid" where just £2 a month for one year can provide a family in Africa with safe, clean water for life.

So why the hell was MY bill over £200????????

Maybe you have 100 African families hiding in your house.

EDIT: Actually it would just be 8 families

It'd be a lot more than 8. My bill is £200 per year. £24 provides water for life.

I'm sure she'd be very pleased with that post !

£200's a lot, are you sure there isnt some sort of industry running from your home. Mines only £120 for the year.

I don't drink water and I don't use the bog much. Mine mustn't be much. Then again, I don't pay for the bill.

    Wooooot!

I don't like the taste of water anyway.

Do you have a water meter, or just pay a typical bill. My typical bill is £160, so I am changing to a water meter this year. Based on my calculations, it should knock it down by nearly £100.
