N&O Columnist requests Star Wars article assistance - deadline tomorrow

Hello,
I'm a reporter for the News & Observer, and we're putting together a
"Star Wars" package for this week's What's Up entertainment tab. I
apologize for the lateness of this request, but we're wondering if any
local fans might have some memories to share of premieres from past SW
film openings, and what makes Lucas and his "Star Wars" series
different from other directors and films.

We're planning to run some reader feedback in the following week's
"What's Up" (5/20) and we thought if we could include a few accounts
this week (5/13), that'd enable other fans to be less shy about sharing
their experiences & their passion for the film(s).

Because What's Up is preprinted on Wednesdays, though, that doesn't
leave much time to gather accounts. So I understand if people can't
respond as promptly as we need them to (which in this case would be
Tuesday morning at 10 a.m.), but just in case....I will ask:

Please send any thoughts or fond memories you have about any of the
"Star Wars" films to animocks@newsobserver.com (and cc it to
swift_nno@yahoo.com, because our N&O firewall has been creating some
problems w/ incoming e-mails). Jpgs welcome, too -- a snapshot of you,
or, better yet, if you dressed up as a character at one time, had a
theme party, or anything like that. We'll post some responses in the
paper and some online at newsobserver.com.

In order to print the responses, we'll also need your full name, age,
contact # (for verification) and the town you live in.
