I am amazed how much Croatian is similar to Polish

BTW, in Polish it is "Moc"

    Force = Moc, huh?
    Cool.
In Croatian, moc with that / thingy on top of the 'c' actualy means power. Force = Sila

So, it would be "MOOOOOC! NEOGRANIIIICENAAAAAAAA MOOOOOOOOC!!!!!" :p

Well, in Polish "sila" means something more physical, and "moc" would be something connected with mind or magic, so we've got Moc in SW.

    LOL
Moc wold be the same thing in Croatian too, but our translators have apprently understood that the Force is a part of Physics, not something magical. :p

Sila magnetskog polja = the force of the magnetic field

I was being sarcastic. Take no post of mine seriously. But you use a Scientific term to describe the Force, and most of you here are Mathematical or Scientifical Intellect Machines.

Actually, in Polish it's also the force of the magnetic pool - sila pola magnetycznego. However, it's also moc silnika - engine power, or however it's called.

Well we count it in "mechanical horses" but we say engine power.

Glasala sam za ne?to drugo. "Klonovi napadaju" je stra?no. Trebalo bi biti "Napad Klonova", drukcije zvuci bezvezno.

What's so funny about that? I mean, the translation on AOTC is sort of stupid, but...

I think I begin to understand...

Klonovi napadaju is obviously Attack of the Clones, but bizarrely translated enough to make Raja laugh, and I actually understood one word of Ana's reply.

    Film.

    :p

Proper translation of Attack of the Clones is Napad Klonova, however, some idiots who did the subtitles translated Klonovi Napadaju (Clones are attacking).
I wrote: Tako odlican film, a tako glupi naziv. That means: such a great movie and such a stupid name (translation).
This thread is aboit the stupidest translations in Star Wars.

Croatian seems quite understandable to me so far. I got what Ana said. I only wasn't sure of the word "odlican", but as it was Ana... well :p

Klonovi napadaju sounds funny in Polish. Klonovi sounds like an adjective, but strangely constructed. I don't think I could translate the joke.

We've got "Mroczne widmo", "Atak klonow", "Zemsta Sithow", "Nowa nadzieja", "Imperium kontratakuje" and "Powrot Jedi".

"Luke, ja sam tvoj otac (tata)."

I think that that sounds very very simmilar in both languages. There was a thread about various languages in JCC some time ago. I thing that on Polish it goes like this:
    "Luke, ja sem tvoj tatinek."

    :p

Hey! I said it was Czech! In Polish it's "Luke, jestem twoim ojcem". However, the "tatinek" version turned up to be made up... by some Pole, I guess, as it's extremly funny in Polish.

Do you also have nominativ, genitive, dativ and such in Polish? They are called pade?i on Croatian, I don't think that there is a name for them on English. Latin is casus...

Yeah, przypadki, it means exactly the same as the Latin casus. We've got seven of them... Terrible for someone to learn Polish as second language. I don't remeber them all myself (I mean, the names and questions), and I at school I was the best at Polish. (And it's not boasting, it's just for you to see, we've got so many of them, and people barely know about them. Even me ;))
