I think that Patricia Heaton from "Everybody Loves Raymond" would make a very nice Princess Leia Organa Solo. However, Harrison Ford can never be replaced.

 

not that i think he would be a good actor for the part but remember in the shadows of the empire game i seem to recall the pictures of dash rendar look alot like Don Johnsons twin

Grand Admiral Thrawn: Timothy Daltan.

Dash Rendar: Dennis Quaid.

Kyle Katarn: Jason Court (The guy who played him in Jedi Knight).

Prince Xixor: Michael Ironside.

Ysaane Isard: Catherine Zeta Jones.

Jacen Solo: Josh Hartnett. (From Pearl harbour and the faculty).

Jaina Solo: Anna Paquin.

Anakin Solo: Brad Renfro.

Kyp Durron: Jason David Frank (Played the green ranger on power rangers).

Admiral Daala: Connie Nielsen (Lucilla from gladiator).

Adam Wylie as Jacen. He has the right eyes, and going from that one Jaina line in BP (something about "I'd forgotten how big your nose and chin are now"), he fits the description really well.

 

Hugh Jackman as Corran Horn....that sounds about right.

 

George Clooney as Kyp Durron and Kate Winslet as Mara Jade Skywalker.

 

I tend to think George Clooney is a little old for Kyp, but I could be wrong...

 

Perhaps George could play Corran Horn.

 

I think, Orlando Bloom would make a fantastic Jagged Fel. Or maybe Jacen Solo. I bet he could pull it off. He's graceful and is very good at swordfighting. C'mon, gals....back me up here...

I was just on my way out when I started poking through this rather intiguing spin on the old standard thread.

It came to mind that people always jump the gun to cast Corran, and while this is all well and good, the rest of the rogues are left out. Yes we all agree that Wedge shall never be replaced. My attentions turned rather to Wes and Derek a.k.a Hobbie. I put them as:

Wes-- Kevin Kline. [the big chill, Grand Canyon, Life as a House, Dave and more] (go with me on this... think about it!)

Hobbie-- William Hurt [the big chill, AI: Artificial Intelegence, to a lesser extent Body Heat]

Kevin Kline is probably a bit of a shock, but like I said he grows on you.

And to me William Hurt just looks like the Hobbie I know. Biggs' Rand Ecleptic mate, prodigal student of Baron Fel, "Two fighters against a Star Destroyer?", Klivian!

Just ressurrecting this thread. I'd probably just go nuts and cast myself as Jaina, even though I look pretty much nothing like her. Failing that I'd grab the blonde hair dye and be Sariss from Jedi Knight. I look evil enough.
