Name In My Fic

I?m writing a story and in my story I use the term ?Shadow Jedi.? I did a search and I came across the term being used by some SW sites. But the term from what I read is different from the way I use it. Is it okay to use the term or should I come up with a new one.

the original Shadow Jedi were an ancient group whose mission it was to monitor for future Sith Activity. Unless your story takes place long before the movies, you could easily say the role of the Shadow Jedi has changed since the Sith have been presumed extinct.

 

Wow! I did not know any of that. The Shadow Jedi in my fic don't come anywhere near that. I guess I'm okay. Thanks.
