    [face_shocked]

Have I told you guys lately HOW COOL YOU ARE? YOU GUYS ROCK!

    I am LOVING this!!!!

I'm gonna sit down the hubby and say here you go...pick one! [face_laugh]

No really, you all have come up with some fantastic names! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

I've decided that if we choose one or two of the names off of this thread, we'll give a prize to the person who first suggested it. How's that sound?

So far everyone has come up with at least one name that I like. Keep brainstorming, you RULE!

Another "Hope" vote!!! Here is a poem to go with Hope . . .

Hope is the thing with feathers
    that perches in the soul
and sings the tune without the words

Tatyana is a great name. (That's my cousins name)

Most guy names also sound good on a girl.
I can't list them all cuz there are too many.

    Julia or Julie are good.

    Terra is pretty.

OH!!! Shiva! Do that one! Do that one! Shiva...

I would feel weird naming my child for the Jewish greiving rituals [face_plain]

Sitting Shiva is the act performed when a member of a Jewish household dies. All mirrors are covered and people simply sit around the house on crates and boxex, in an attempt to hide from the pain in their eyes and to give the family time to come to terms with their grief.

And Wenchy, have that wee one a day early, be happy and healthy and that would be the coolest Birthday present ever ;) :)

Ah yes, there is certainly "sitting shiva" - however - I'm thinking that he was thinking (and yes, this is eerily appropriate for Wenchy's daughter...) Shiva is the god of destruction in the Hindu pantheon...

    Hee hee hee! [face_devil]

I thought that one was spelled differently ?[face_plain]

Anyway, in a Western culture, the first thing anyone is going to think of is the Jewish variety. Not many people (outside of the PFF) would know that much about Hinduism ;) :p

I'd totally date a chick named Reaper.

You could just go all the way with the Xena theme and name your daughter Xena Warrior Princess Whiting. It's like I plan to name my son Vash the Stampede Snider.

    Vartouhi.

That's an Armenian name. It's hard to describe how it actually sounds. Let's see...

Well first off you gotta roll the R. If you can't do that, forget about the name.

The beginning part sounds like the word LAWN.

To spell it the way it sounds would be like this: Vawrtoohee. Of course with the rolled R.

What else is a good name?

Gasia is a pretty name. And so is Alina and Julliana. (Those are all names of my cousins)

Can't think of anymore right now. It's too late.

    Oooh...pretty names Armenian Jedi!

IA I can just picture a little dark haired boy wearing dark glasses and a leather coat walking right next to you, the spitting image of his father.
