No, I don't watch either and I like his hair brown!

The point was that while Spike from Buffy has blonde hair, Spike from Bebop has brown. And he has costumes for both, thus the name fits him either way.

Also I see that we have another vote for Aurora. :)

Oooh...good suggestions for names there Biskey Boy and IA!

I've got some definate favorites, but my husband is really clinging on to the LOTR idea.

Negotiations are in progress and any new names you can think of will help.

    Thanks guys!

Modern day versions of this name are:
    Guinevere
    or
    Jennifer

I've always loved the olde fashioned spellinge of that name... [face_love]

Nicknames can be still be Jenn, or Gwen or...

It's also the name of a Predator Class Carrier that the Kilrathi captured and you have to destroy in Wing Commander: Secret Missions 1

    But anyway...

TSL reminded me of two other fanfic characters I used to write for, Lyris and Priya. They were sisters in the same starfighter squadron.

Thanks guys! So many good names! I just need to convince the hubby that there are other cool names than Arwen. I'll run this new batch by him and see if we come up with any hits.

    You're all awesome!

    howabout Angela?
    Danielle?
    Michelle ?
    Raphaelle?
    Gabrielle?

of even Jericho... even if it's a boy's name, it sounds uber-cool enough to be a girl's too. Jeri for Trek, J-Ko for anime, Jericho for the Bible, J-Ra for the Princess of Power in every girl, and Jae Rico for the Corellian smuggler in the family. Hee.

maybe even Prez... (if anyone gets this, i owe them a sobe in Cali).

Just whatever you do... DO NOT NAME HER JENNIFER!!!!! :p There are more than enough of us as there is... Nothing like getting a call, "Jennifer? Yes, this is Jennifer..." And it HAPPENS ALL THE TIME!!!!!!!

Example: New Job, the person who used to have it was named Jennifer, and when I am intriduced as "The New Jennifer" everyone asks, "So, what's you're real name?" :p

Well, you're not going to believe this but we finally came up with a name.

I know...hard to fathom, but it's true and the wierdest part is that NO ONE mentioned this name on this thread. [face_shocked]

So we're driving along a few days ago and my husband, out of the blue, says:

"Why don't we name her Trinity?"

And I'm not sure why...maybe it's the Matrix geek in me...or maybe because it's a bit religious as well...but I like it.

So as long as she looks like a Trinity, her name will be:

    Trinity Grace Whiting

The "Grace" is actually after my Great-Grandmother Grace Griffin who was also a red-head. My family often says they see her in me.

For some reason I think this name will fit this child and I feel good about it.

Thanks for all the help guys!

No. Rechoose the name to one that I came up with.

    or.... hmmm, I also submit
    "Trinity"
    or
    "Grace"

... Yes, that'll do nicely... I accept the name, and my prize.
