Another clue for those who are playing:

The "group" that did the song was a one hit wonder.

And I was incorrect about the decade. After rethinking it, it's the same decade, just a bit later in.

Yo, is it "Standing outside a broken phone booth with money in my hand" by Radiohead?

Man, I love some of these hot girl icons. I'll start using some of these from now on. I love me some eye candy.

    Correct song, wrong band.

The band was Primitive Radio Gods. Well, actually it was just one guy, but still....

    You're up next

Here we go...I have a feeling Sunafar or Drakkor can snag this one pretty quickly-lol-we'll see:

"Lost in a dream in the arms of the night
Two lonely prisoners of our own device
Don't let me go. Hold on together
You wanna know if love can be real
I wanna take everything I can steal
Love on the line, it's now or never
Why can't the night last forever"

    W-o-w...that's very good!
He's one of my favorite guitarists ever, and Joe Satriani. Thanks again to Drakkor and Sunafar for introducing me to them. And Steve Vai. I saw a triple guitar he had in Hard Rock Cafe, it was shaped like a heart!

    You're next!

Sorry guys I've been in Georgia, but here's your next song.

i've been down this road before
where the passion turns into pain
and each time I saw love walk out the door
i swore i'd never get caught up again

I made it down the coast in seventeen hours
Pickin' me a bouquet of dogwood flowers,
And I'm a hopin' in Raleigh
I can see my baby tonight.

The song is "Wagon Wheel" and it was performed by Old Crow Medicine Show and it was written by Bob Dylan (that's how I knew what it was.)

Since the game got held up so long because of me, I will post an easy one for everyone to get it back going:

"Sing with me, sing for the year
Sing for the laugh and sing for the tear
Sing with me, if it's just for today
Maybe tomorrow the good Lord will take you away"

Another song uses this line and is a more recent song... I am looking for the original

"Slugs and snails are after me
    DDT keeps me happy
Now I guess I'll have to tell 'em
    That I got no cerebellum.
    Gonna get my Ph.D"
