I broke 50K yesterday...and today I finished my story (I even put [THE END]). The ending's crap, and pretty much the whole thing is crap, but come January or February I'll go back to it and edit the whole thing...like mad.

My final word count is 51, 369. *Happy dance.* And tomorrow I get to celebtrate! My brother is buying me Tempest for a late birthday present.

Gah, I haven't gotten anywhere today.

...Unless you count noticing that if I were to attribute to my main character, as writing or dreams, some of the story-fragments I've written for Neopets during the month of November, I could boost by over 9000 words all at once.

 

Wow! You guys are very impressive. Congratulations to all of you, okay, maybe not the person who has only written 500 words but really, what an accomplishment.

I broke 47K today...my Spanish test is going to suffer for it I'm afraid. I won't be able to write tomorrow at all though... Only 3K more to go!

I hit an ending to my story so I stopped at that point.

I'm hoping to make it to 5000, but I might not be able to get online to actually make it official. But I'll still have written the words, so I've decided it's all good.

And I made it to 5000.

I now have 5358 words. This is probably the last milestone I'll hit before the month is over, as I'll never make it to 10,000 in time. Oh, well.

It was a long, hard road for me. I can actually count the number of times I wanted to give up. But thanks to some very supportive friends and groups, I did not. So my story is finished and the word count validated.

That sounds like most of my story! There's a plot in there somewhere chasing it's own tail, but there's a lot of filler as well..

I see the finish line and actually may be done with my 50K worth of words, at least, hopefully by tonight...I was hoping to finish Part One of my novel which encompasses the first 15 chapters of a possible 45, but that may not happen...Oh well, the goal was to write 50,000 words...which if all goes well I will do....
