    Very nice update. You're good at giving the reader enough to satisfy but always leaving them wanting as well :p

    For that kind of character, be sure to draw from your own shortcomings and imperfections as well as your aspirations. Makes for a more three-dimensional character.

    Thank you! This was a bit hard for me because I prefer action themed writing... However, I felt
    this was needed so they get to know each other and the reader sees them in a sad-ish scene.

    Very well done. A scene doesn't have to have action to be interesting. As long as things happen, characters develop, and details unfold. Keep up the good work.
