IC: Osuka Arizo

Settling down he rubbed his head, it still stung a bit from the lightning strike. He was fully aware that all in his team thought he was an annoyign fool. " Wouldn't have it any other way" Osuka said to himself quietly. HE was used to it, people never really caught on to what he said and did when he was acting serious. So he plays the fool, until he needs to breakout of the shell. He sighed, insomnia was never fun. A fair trade though inhis mind. The insomnia was a side effect from a sealing jutsu performed on him when he was young. Kidnapped by bandit ninja he was part of a dangerous ritual that took the hokage a very strong sealing jutsu to contain. ALl Osuka remembers is the people he killed when he was under that cursed spell. The sun was just starting to peak over the hill, they'de be moving out soon.

IC Yamatashi Naoki:


Yamatashi watched the scene with disinterest. The boy was punished for his foolishness and the meeting moved on. The long limbed man strode to the trunk of one of the tree's and lay onto one of the roots his eyes staring into the sky. This was to be an interesting mission, and he closed his eye's for sleep, he however knew most of the others were awake. He hoped they realized the risk they took by not sleeping.

Update: The night has passed

IC: Chenzuro Tatsumaki

The night passed without event, except the occasional flight of an owl or travel of some other nocturnal creature. "Okay everyone, wake up, that is if you didn't stay up all night and into the morning." he said looking at a few of the shinobi around him. "We won't stop until we reach Iwagakure, so suit up, get any last minute supplies you need and meet me on the border of the village. Arashi-sama!" he called to the sky. Instantly a great wind blew and a giant eagle landed before him, he got onto its back and turned to face the other shinobi. "I want all of you there in no longer than an hour." he added and he took off on the eagles back.

IC: Akumei Kurayami

"All forces stop." he called to the other oni-nin. "We will begin our assault on Iwagakure within the next 24 hours. Kill all in sight, take all you desire." he added smiling. He proceeded to use a jutsu that brought forth jet black clouds, that even in the day plunged all under them into a premature night. "All of Earth Country will fall to our might." he said, his as he closed his eyes, when he opened them they had turned a pure, empty black.

IC: Osuka Arizo

He had been been woken up, from his glorious twelve minutes of sleep. "Ugh, maybe my next mission is going to be a nine to five. Hmm why do I doubt that" he said getting up . He tightened his headband that was wrapped aroun his waste. ALl glances at his with dirty looks, he laughed lightly. He then began to head to the border.

IC: Chenzuro Tatsumaki

He was waiting for several minutes when the first of the Konoha shinobi appeared within his sights. He lept down from the tree that he and Arashi-sama were perched and landed before him. "You know you act like a total idiot, however I remember another like you once upon a time. He was a friend of my grandfather's. His name was Naruto Uzumaki. He acted like an idiot but became one of the greatest shinobi in Konoha. However he knew when to act foolish and when to be serious, at least some of the time." Chenzuro said. "I see that same potential in you, you just need to learn when to listne and when you can act foolish." he added with a small smile. "Look at me, I was a complete idiot as a kid, but I became Raikage, some idiots become leaders, but to do so they need to prove to others that they are capable. If they can do so endless paths open before them." he added. "If you survive this mission you will at least prove to me that you have what it takes. Now follow me to the meeting spot." he finished, and he escorted Osuka to the tree he was in earlier. When he reached the tree line he saw something that chilled his blood, an expanse of pure darkness growing in the northwest, on the borders of Iwagakure. "We don't have much time, we will have to make it to Iwagakure within the day." he said, looking over to Osuka, worry etched into his face, a sense of urgency eminating from him.

Tochigi, Akako

Under one of the trees sat Akako. Her eyes were closed as if asleep, though she didn't get too much rest. She is usually restless at the start of missions. Instead she was in a more meditative state to relax her anxious mind. She could feel a soft breeze on her cheek and hear the natural sounds of the forest. It all seemed peaceful from where she was at. In the middle of her listening to the sounds of the forest came a voice that woke her out of the meditative state that she was in.

"Okay everyone, wake up, that is if you didn't stay up all night and into the morning."

Her eyes opened and looked around for the person who belonged to the voice. It was Chenzuro who she saw giving orders.

"We won't stop until we reach Iwagakure, so suit up, get any last minute supplies you need and meet me on the border of the village. Arashi-sama!"

He commanded as he got on to the back of a giant eagle that seemed to appear out of no where.

"I want all of you there in no longer than an hour." he added and he took off on the eagles back.

It didnt take long for Akako to get ready. She usually traveled light so it wasn't much of a problem for her. She had plenty of time but knew there was no time to waste. She headed for the border to meet the other. She was just about there and from the distance she could that Chenzuro and Arizo had arrived. There was still no sign from the others.

"Chenzuro, I have arrived and await your orders." she announced as she gave a bow of respect toward him.

Endo, Shinji

"Okay everyone, wake up, that is if you didn't stay up all night and into the morning." Shinji opened his eyes as Chenzuro gave them all orders. He blinked several times to clear the sleep from his eyes and stood up. He placed his katanna back in it's place in his belt, staring at Chenzuro.

"We won't stop until we reach Iwagakure, so suit up, get any last minute supplies you need and meet me on the border of the village. Arashi-sama!" He commanded as he got on to the back of a giant eagle that seemed to appear out of no where. "I want all of you there in no longer than an hour." he added and he took off on the eagles back.

Shinji looked at the others briefly before stretching his legs and arms. He had slept for a brief time, at least three hours. It was always better than nothing. The tall ninja finished stretching and made sure his supplies were all secured before he leapt into the trees and headed for the border. With the wind whipping through his hair he adjusted his mask, making sure his headband was tied securely.

As he drew closer he saw Arizo and Tochigi had already arrived. Quickly, he dropped down behind Tochigi, bowing his head to Chenzuro respectfully.

OOC: Dude, Anime-Fan I wasn't sure if you'd have time to post at all, you shut down your rpg due to the stress of running that and school, but thanks for posting.

 

IC Yamatashi Naoki.

Yamatashi awoke without a sound, slowly getting up he glanced around the camp as the Kazekage flew off. His face turned into a slight frown as he glanced at his companions, the other Jonin was the only one he really thought could pull off such a dangerous mission. The Hokage was foolish for sending these young ones, still perhaps he could get them out before the true fight started.

He leaped into action moving quickly through the forest to meet with the Kazekage, it was a long trip and he needed to move fast. He eventually made it, his tall form a shadow of the great tree branch he stood on. "Here, Lord Kazekage" he said in a cold down to earth voice.

IC: Chenzuro Tatsumaki

"Ok now that everyone's here we're off." Chenzuro said, he then used another jutsu. "Eagle host jutsu" he said, instantly several smaller eagles, still large enough to fly on, appeared. "We need extra speed, everyone get on, we don't stop until we reach Iwagakure. Move out!" he shouted, then with a leap he and Arashi-sama tore off to the Village Hidden in the Stones.

IC: Akumei Kurayami

"The time is soon, we will move within the next few hours." Akumei said to his blood thirsty troops.

'I grow hungry Akumei, you'd best hurry or I'll start feasting on your own men. Or better yet mess up your own plans and attack the village prematurely.' Yamisama hissed inside Akumei's head. 'I know how much you'd hate that.' it added.

"Wait a bit longer, the village won't stand for long." Akumei said closing his eyes. "It won't last long, Iwagakure will fall and those who banished us will go with it." he added, a dark expression taking form on his face.

Endo, Shinji

"We need extra speed, everyone get on, we don't stop until we reach Iwagakure. Move out!"

Shinji watched silently as Chenzuro conjured up Eagles for them all the fly on. He stood there in silence for a minute before he carefully mounted one of the Eagles. With a whoosh he was off the ground, the Eagle he had chosen in pursuit of Chenzuro and Arashi-sama. Shinji's hair whipped back and he turned to look back at the others. It was a new experience. The closest Shinji had ever gotten to flying was the great heights he could leap, and even then those weren't close to being as high as he was now. Shinji smiled beneath the mask that covered his mouth. The feeling of flight was exhilarating.

IC: Chenzuro Tatsumaki/Akumei Kurayami

Chenzuro and the strike team arrived in Iwagakure just in time, a force of easily 50 oni-nin had amassed on the borders of the village and were converging on it's northwestern border. "Everyone to the northwest corner of the village, hurry!" Chenzuro yelled to everyone. They landed and ran full speed to where the oni-nin were now trying to break down the village gate. "Now listen I want each of you to get on a different roof top and attack any oni-nin within your range, move." he added. He remounted Arashi-sama and took to the air. "Oni-nin, where is your leader?" he commanded of the warriors once he was in range of their vision.

"That would be me, peon." came a wicked voice from the front of the crowd, "Yamisama come out." it added, instantly a great serpent appeared and rearing up brought the ninja level with Chenzuro. "You are foolish to reveal yourself Iwa-nin." he said with a snarl.

"Iwa-nin, no I'm from Kumogakure, I just dropped in for a visit." Chenzuro added with a smirk. "I am Chenzuro Tatsumaki, Raikage and San-nin of the Village Hidden in the Clouds. I am here to stop you." he added his smile broadening.

"Famous last words you fool, prepare to fall to the power of Akumei Kurayami." Akumei said. "Tear down the wall and kill them all, we may very well get two kage in one go." he added to his men with a smile. Instantly several demons burst from their hosts and blasted a great hole in the wall. "I'll take the Raikage, all of you find the Tsuchikage and wipe him out." he added as he and Yamisama went after the great eagle and it's mount. "Die you insolent swine!" he shouted as Yamisama lept at them.

"Not so fast, Hebi, Tora, Tatsu, Tori. Heaven Shield Jutsu!!" Chenzuro shouted. The serpent crashed into a sphere of energy and fell to the ground below, taking Akumei with it.

"Damn fool! Hebi, Ushi, Hitsuji, Nezumi. Hell Fire Jutsu." He said, he then thrust his hand toward the eagle. It crashed into the shield and forced the eagle back in the ensuing eruption of flame. Yamisama soon resumed his attack leaping back at the eagle's throat.

"Arashi-sama, Divine Tempest Jutsu." Chenzuro said placing his palm on the eagles back, not soon after several bolts of lightning came crashing down on the serpents head, again ruining it's plans of killing Chenzuro and Arashi-sama. "Everyone the time is now, attack!!!" he shouted to all the Shinobi below. The battle of Iwagakure had begun.

ic Yamatashi Naoki:

Yamatashi saw the Oni-nin and sighed. it would be a hell of a fight especially with the young ones fighting. Still he had to do it and hoped not many high ranked ones were there. Glancing at one he saw a Oni-nin who looked to be commanding some, obviously higher then the rest. He quickly called up a Ninjutsu fireball technique "Fireball Justsu!" he cried and huge ball of flame as it flew toward the Oni-nin and he quickly did a genjustu to follow the fireball "hell viewing jutsu!"

OOC: Feel free to kill as many of the NPC's as you think your character is capable of doing-remember they are all around Naruto power.

 

IC: Osuka Arizo

He finaaly got his pay off, a large group of Oni-nin came towards him. He lept up onto a roof top dodging the Oni-nin in the alley, he leaned down over them. He made the sequence of handsings for his specialty technique, " Leaf shuriken hurricane" he shouted as thousands of leaves surged around him. He then lept down back into the cricle of Oni-nin. "Rotation" he shouted, using the paired jutsu the hurrican spread outwards violently. The leaves shredded through four Oni-nin. He sprinted over to the left and back into the streets. Two Oni-nin launched kunai straight at him. He pulled out his katana and swiped them away, the two Oni-nin then charged him. "Fire style- Fire Oversoul jutsu" and with that command, the blade burst into flames. He plunged the sword into the gut of one on the left, he smirked as the flames raged and rapidly engulfed him. Pulling away he then swung again, a stream of fire mad contact with the other ONi-nin,.

Tochigi, Akako

"Ok now that everyone's here we're off." Chenzuro said, he then used another jutsu. "Eagle host jutsu" he said, instantly several smaller eagles, still large enough to fly on, appeared. Akako obeyed the order and gracefully jumped on one of the smaller eagles. It was quite weird to be flying on such an animal. It amazed Akako very much, though she knew this was a jutsu she could not do. Still she admired the brillance of Chenzuro. She saw Shinji mount his eagle with ease and for a second she could of sweared that he had smiled beneath the mask because of the squint in his eyes.

She smiled back though she figured he probably wasn't watching since the eagles flapping wings could easily be a distraction for someone not used to flying them. Her eagle was fine but it wasn't the most comfortable ride to her.

They finally arrived in Iwagakure. She couldn't believe her eyes there were about 50 Oni Nin at the borders of the village on their way to the northwest.

"Everyone to the northwest corner of the village, hurry!" Chenzuro yelled to everyone.

Her eagle flew with speed toward the northwest along with the other strike team members. She was getting excited. She could feel that the battle is just about to start. She was ready for whatever was going to be thrown at her.

As she reached the the destination she saw the Oni Nin trying to break down the village gate. Before she could respond Chenzuro spoke.

"Now listen I want each of you to get on a different roof top and attack any oni-nin within your range, move." he added.

"Ok boy let's get on a rooftop and show those Oni Nin a good beat down." She said as she lead her eagle to one of the roof tops.

She dismounted her eagle and landed on to the rooftop where she saw about five Oni Nin coming toward her.

"That's as far as you go. You need to get past me if you want to get through. Believe me it's not as easy as it may look." She said with her hands motioning upward to perform a jutsu.

With her elbows out and her hands in front of her chest she formed a serpant, dog, and a tiger with her hands, while chanting the cantation....

"Ice Killing Spears"

Then out of nowhere came several sharp crystal ice spears from her hands and they were heading for the five Oni Nin. She enhanced her technique by adding tai jutsu, to increase the speed of her attack.

The Oni Nin didn't have a chance. They were Chuunin level even though they never took the exams, still they were no match for Akako. Her tai jutsu was too fast for them and they needed her to remain at a certain spot before they could use their jutsu's on her. Akako evaluated this and came to this conclusion. She kept moving as her ice spears hit her targets. They were unorganized and didn't work as a team. This was to Akako's advantage. She had already killed three of the Oni Nin and now there was two left. They had good intuition as they dodged her attacks, but they were tiring out and could not keep up with her. They made poor attempts at countering her which in the end cost them their lives. Her ice spears were too much for them and the remaining two Oni Nin ended up with ice spears through their chest.

"I told you it wouldn't be easy."

She said with confidence to the dead ninjas. She knew this was just the begining and more difficult opponents await.
