Portman, who plays Padme, expects there to be some ray of hope amid the chaos and calamity of "Episode III" to set the stage for Anakin's later redemption.

"I still think George has a really optimistic line in the thread of all of them," said Portman. "I don't necessarily think he has this dark outlook for the end of things, not like some apocalyptic vision. There's always this balance of hope. ... His movies are the antithesis of cynicism."

 

Remember when Luke asks Leia about their mother?? She replies "she was very beautiful, but very sad" She is obviosly sad because of Ani's dark side thing. For some reason, this has struck me hard, and I can't get it out of my head. Its weird, just I can't put it on to paper.

 

I don't think she'll die just yet... remember in ROTJ when Luke asked Leia "do you remember your mother? your real mother?"
or something like that and she remembered something. No one gets memories in first few years of his/her life so Padmé can't die before Leia's at least 3-5 years old (at least I hope so)

Also He has made it clear that he had thought of her everyday since they had last seen each other. I would be a little tired of waiting as well!

I just want to know why Leia remembers(although she says they are just feelings and images) and Luke doesn't if they are twins, I don't see how GL can write that in to make any sense. It also said in that same article you are talking about that we will see little Luke and Leia as infants in EP III. Heh, I still wanna know how Padme manages to be pregnant and have the kids without Anakin knowing, but whose to say that he doesn't know.

 

lets see...after they do their thing.. if you know what i mean... okay?? Later ... Anakin joins Obiwan and the jedi to fight in the clone wars...who knows how long the wars lasts. during that time... Padme is pregnant... and...i dunno..

 

Man, she looks hot in the scenes where she has the white, tight pants on... (e.g. the "Colosseum-type-of-gladiator-place"). I'd screw her.
