I know that's how it turned out in retrospect. At the time I didn't know that. :p

Wouldn't be too excited about that to be honest. Both are kind of volume shooters.

Bogut is a baller. Underrated defender. Interesting to see how he fits with the Warriors. Also, Captain Jack is back in the Bay!

From the way the Milwaukee Sports guys are talking, I think Ellis may turn out to be Jennings' replacement. They've been taking offers for him too, and picking Ellis up may signal that they're close to moving him. I do like the Bogut trade, got two young players (one of them who seems to be a very good, young player) for a constantly hurt center and a player that's been on the bench most of the year with a "hamstring injury". And Kwame Brown.

Is it just me or is Dwight being almost as terrible as LeBron about leaving the Magic. He wants to stay until the end of the year, but wants to go to the Nets in the off-season. The pretty much means the Magic can't trade him and get something in return and are going to pretty much get nothing for losing their superstar. I mean, it's smart for Howard because he doesn't want the team he joins to gut all their players to get him but bad for the organization.

I don't know, I just feel like Dwight is leaving the management in a no-win scenario.

Mike D'Antoni has apparently resigned as head coach of the Knicks. Here comes the Isaiah Thomas era 2.0 (and more years of suckitude for the Knicks)

    NOOOOO! Not D'Antoni! ****ING MELO!

At least they're booing him at the Garden now. Sigh.

Help us Jeremy Lin, you're our only hope...

Apparently, Dwight has told the team he's not going to opt out and will be in Orlando for 2012-13.

I think he's just trying to out-do Lebron. He'll opt out and be even more hated in Orlando.

And apparently he told them the opposite shortly after.

Geez. As I saw on twitter, say what you will about the mechanics of The Decision, but at least it was decisive.

Also, if I were the Magic, Howard is gone. Trade him, start over.

There's something about all of this recent Knicks drama that's pleasing to me. And as for that Golden State/Milwaukee trade, that makes no sense to me for the Warriors...........they traded one of their legit scoring threats for an oft injured center? Why?

According to Wojo, they are "aggressively" trying to do so. Nets and Rockets look they most likely, but I'm counting on a surprise team to step in and somehow make it happen.

From Grantland: Carmelo Anthony, joy wrecker

As I mentioned on Facebook a few minutes ago, I do feel for all the true blue Knicks fans out there. I only despise 2 fanbases: Boston & Sacramento.

I'm also starting to really enjoy these Laker Instagram photo's that pop up in my FB news feed. :

I really hope the Magic trade Dwight to someplace random like the Wizards, just to spite him.

Man I wish we had Gay and Randolph for that game, but I was glad to see how they played the Lakers without them. Randolph should be back soon.

And we're hearing here in Memphis that the Grizzlies are talking to Gilbert Arenas. [face_frustrated] Please... just no. Why ruin a good thing so far?

howard is also officially staying through next season as well.

also, here's a list of all the trades that went through before the buzzer.

    EDIT

after looking over that list again... (had early when only three things were on it) had anyone heard anything about nene moving? much less being part of a three team trade?

Rapid thoughts (I'm still at work) on the Lakers moves:

-I will not miss Walton or Kapono. Dead weight on the team.

-I understand, wasn't surprised to see Fisher go. I've given him a lot of crap over the past year or so, but damned if I won't miss him on the Lakers. When I came to the break room just now to tell fellow fans about the Fisher deal, they understood it as well, but were aghast nonetheless.

-I can't wait/am excited to what Sessions can do for the purple & gold.
