Houston and Philly just finished a deal to bring Jeremy Lin here. It hinges on their signing a free agent, but I imagine that will happen. The idea of a Lin & MCW backcourt wipes away every tear from last season's tankapalooza.

If the rumors are true, then my guess is Houston did that trade to clear space for Bosh.

Reworking Lin's contract? He seems overpaid.

Today's the day. And everything I read says Melo is still a free agent. No big players have made any decisions yet. Mostly I want to see the big three split.

At some point I heard Phil Jackson was promising that Kevin Durant would sign with the Knicks in 2015, but not if Melo takes all the $, right? I have very mixed feelings about Durant leaving OKC because I hate to see big stars leave little markets, but I do love my Knicks ;) I can understand Melo staying if Durant were coming. I want Melo to stay I've always liked him. Not sure how we can afford to build a team around him though.

    *waits*

Why would Durant go to NYK anyways? Because it's New York? That works for some players (Melo), but not all. Dyrant doesn't come off as that kind of superstar.

I hope he only leaves OKC under one condition: to sign with the expansion/relocated team in Seattle.

Durant won't leave OKC unless management pisses him off, the fans dump him, or his best friend Russell Westbrook gets traded and the Thunder sign Darko Milicic to replace him.

Point is, I don't think he'll leave. He's beloved in OKC, and he hasn't shown any signs of wanting out as of now.

Anyway, did LeBron see his shadow yet or are we having six more weeks of free agency?

i'm surprised there's no mention of the lakers and rockets talking about a lin salary dump. i think it's clear at this point we aren't getting melo or lebron, and we need a point guard. lin doesn't have many years left on his contract (either one or two) which is perfect for what we're looking for.

It seems that no free agent will sign until James does.

Every NBA analyst sounds like a fanboy speculating on where James will end up.

Almost 4 years ago to the day, I had a softball game. I did the chalk toss with dirt before running into the outfield in honor of the impending Decision. Afterward I sped home with my dad to watch...as LeBron gutted us. My gf cried over Skype.

    Today...I have a softball game.

I'm not getting four tickets to the Cavs-Nuggets game for $20 this year.

    That's my only negative reaction.

I saw the article on SI. I'm still working on the believing.

It does call into mind if LeBron is a dick, still.

He didn't do that entire story just this morning. So, he pretty much stabbed Wade in the back. Told him last night he didn't have a decision. Got him to opt out.

Oh well. Better Wade gets ****** than Cleveland.

Sigh. Let's just hope for the best. Don't like this but not much else we can do.
