I really, really should have watched that game.


Anyhow, despite the overall horrendous stink of this season, the purple & gold have been playing decently enough of late (especially Jordan Clarkson)... sure, only 4-wins in their last 10 games, but they've been in so many of these games. Crazy blowouts aren't really the norm (a stat from Tuesday against Detroit: 21 of their losses have been by 7-points or less... holy ****). Tonight that decently-enough status ended against the Knicks, who looked GOOD tonight offensively, which is a rather damning statement on the Lakers effort.







The face on Sharon Hernandez there (the lady with the white hair, right behind the scoring bug) could really be a fitting cover on this team's eventual '14-'15 yearbook.

No matter the score and/or deficit, Sign Guy still does his thing. We should all have his enthusiasm.

To say I'm angry I missed that game is a gross understatement. I have been full of regret all day.

i don't understand how you're a laker fan and you're rooting for us to win games right now. we need that draft pick!

 

Because I really loathe this current climate around tanking/the lottery... ideally, each non-playoff team would have 1-ping pong ball apiece, so that way everyone has an equal chance of obtaining the top pick, etc, regardless of how pitiful a team's record is. It would be a nice way (in my humble opinion) to disincentive tanking.


I don't care how putrid the Lakers have been since 2013, the few times they've won games since then, I still have measures of excitement over it. That'll never change.

darth_gersh That's one hell of a fantastic buzzer beater; in terms of how that possession went, it could be the craziest one for this season. Lovely.

LOL CAVS

 

Durant is officially shutting it down for the season. I almost feel bad for the Thunder. Almost.

 

As someone who has endured injuries to star players, my sympathies to the Thunder. It sucks

 

the thunder look like they might pass the mavericks, who are in a bit of a late season funk, for the seven seed. i think, even with durant out, that would be fine with the warriors.

Cavs are in the playoffs. Heck yes! Goal for the season met in my eyes. Every win after this is icing on the cake imo. I'm sure the Cavs can make a run deep into the playoffs but am taking it nice and slow for me.
