Apparently all these Rockets need to play well is to be facing a severe series deficit.

Good thing there's going to be at least a week until the Finals start. Should give Curry plenty of time to recover.

 

I hate sideline reporters. "And the Warriors have to hope it's not the worst-case scenario and that he doesn't have a concussion..." -- yeah, or a way more serious injury as that was one of the most horrifying things I've seen on a basketball court. and a totally legal basketball play on all sides, just stupid luck.

 

He's baaaaack...

 

Yeah, that's a farce. There's almost no way he didn't have a concussion from that. (prefaced with "I'm not a doctor, but...")

 

Hack-a-Capela has to be the name of a band or concert sometime in the future.

Well, it's not so bad that Golden State has a chance to clinch a Finals berth in front of their fans; No way they approach the start of game 5 as they approached the beggining of this game 4.

 

The positive side of the Rockets win is we get more games, less empty air time before the Finals begin. Rockets just delaying the inevitable.

 

I'd have liked to see Curry out a few games and come back for a Game 7 because of his obvious concussion.

 

On the other hand, the Rockets did the same thing last series, down 3 - 0 backs to the wall against the Clippers...

 

Nein. Down 3-1. No team ever came back from 3-0 in NBA, yadda yadda yadda...

 

the rockets do appear to play their best when they're backs are against the wall though. i just hope the warriors can close it out in five. if we're going back to houston with the rockets looking to force a game seven i will be genuinely worried.

 

The Rockets looked relieved they won last night, as the Warriors nearly came back to tie the game in the fourth quarter a few times. Good on the Warriors for not giving up on Game 4 the way the Rockets gave up on Game 3.

I expect Game 5 to be a dogfight but the Warriors closing out the Rockets.

I expect the Cavs to finish the Hawks tonight.

Cavs are in the NBA Finals!

 

That game needed a mercy rule, but I couldn't be more excited right now for my fellow Cleveland fans. Still have one series left to win though.

 

Simply marvelous that Cleveland's back in The Finals.
