I enjoy Thursday at 5AM when ESPN replays NBA games while I'm on the treadmill. If I had been watching it live I would have sighed 10 times and thought here's where the Warriors take over.

Also I love the Chris Paul commercial with his insurance agent when they pick up James Harden and everyone in the car is belting out lyrics to "I Want It That Way" except James Harden. I have seen that commercial 100 times and I still laugh every time.

I thought it was great that Walton didn't know who Shaggy P was and he learned that Al-Farouq means Chief. And I love that he gave a shout out to long time Dubs TV commentator, Jim Barnett, the man behind the moniker "Rip City."

That was a tough loss by the Dubs in that KD's 50 point game was all in vain and now they're looking up at the Rockets in the standings like at the start of the season.

 

it's swaggy p. and jim took the shot but it was blazers play by play announcer bill schonely who coined the phrase.

but yeah, if bill and doris could call every warriors game i think losses would be a lot easier to swallow.

You know, it's BS like the Fox News whatshername coming at LeBron that's a reminder of how much of a brotherhood the NBA can be. I might still think KD burned his teammates and became a heel in basketball, but his comments today show how together they are in the bigger scheme of things.

Same goes for you peeps, this is a consistently fun place to hang and I really enjoy talking basketball with you all except @Point Given who still hasn't invited me to a Knick game

 

The Knicks will be begging people to come to games the rest of this season.

Kevin's comments yesterday were the first time he opened his mouth since July 4,2016 and something cringeworthy didn't come out. Hopefully he is growing up. I'll never pull for him to win another finals, but as a guy I don't want to hate him forever.

 

I saw the Fox News video in the US politics thread and for once I actually watched it, and it was sick. It was just disturbing to watch that level of unprompted hatred.

 

It pleases me to no end that Shaq goes to the same hookah spot that me & my buddies have been going to since ‘05.
