I think we need more Roseanne-esque National Anthem performances.

I don't think my ears would survive another Roseanne National Anthem.

Now, that's how all NBA All Star Games should be played.

I'm sure Steph asked KD on the plane ride back to Oakland, "Why did you come and double team me?" as Steph had the ball in the closing seconds of the game.

Steph and Harden had a poor showing at the All Star Game, but they were out of rhythm playing with so many other stars.

As for Fergie, I kind of wish that Shaq would have let Chuck speak his mind about the performance. So the best we got was the Chuckster saying, (something to the effect) "I need a cigar after that." To which, someone tweeted at the show...

They are going to televise the all-star draft next year. That is going to be the best part of the whole thing though it was one of the better games in recent memory. I like the format overall.

Hopefully the captains for next year's all star teams will have a true rivalry like Steph and LeBron. You know, LeBron just wanted to beat Team Steph in every way possible. I mean, that was some sincere and honest emotions that LeBron displayed when the game was over. Sheer joy, which was the result of, as Amad Rashad use to say, "sheer will."

It'll likely be Greek Freak and KD.

Speaking of, if you haven't seen Giannis's Valentine's Day video please do yourself the favor of googling it. I laughed for like days.

It's very, very, very unlikely these two guys would be team captains, but Russell Westbrook and Joel Embiid. I mean, that was a great tracking by Embiid on Westbrook to get that block. These two dudes clearly don't exchange Christmas cards.

Well, the season restarts again tonight. And on Saturday, Westbrook will be in Oakland with his buddies to take on his former cupcake buddy KD. Hopefully it won't be a blow out game like the last one.

Of course, like every other NBA fan, I'll have an eye on the new look Cavs.

All that for the right to lose the vast majority of 1st round playoff series (there’d be a few upsets I’d imagine, but not enough). Not convinced at all this would be as entertaining as thought about; the Simmons idea that actually needs to happen (in all sports, actually) is the Hall of Fame pyramid.

yeah I would have preferred the bulls missed the playoffs last year. Better draft pick or get beaten first round? hmm. The impending changes to the lottery will help this mentality somewhat

Jimmy B has a torn meniscus. Not sure how long he'll be out, but even if he does come back by the playoffs I can't imagine he'll be particularly healthy. This sucks. I was looking forward to seeing what they could do in the playoffs. I didn't actually think they could beat the Warriors, but it would have been fun to see them try with a healthy Jimmy B bulldozing guys on his way to the cup. Would have been fun to see them try to make a splash. It's good to have new blood in the playoffs.

If it's just a torn meniscus, that's better than a torn ACL and a lesser chance of being done for the year due to surgery.

I managed to get mid-court seats for the Hornets-Pistons game. So far well worth it.

Just saw a stat that the bottom 9 teams are on a 48 game losing streak. lol

Some of these tank v tank games coming up have some real comedy gold potential

lol that's insane. poor nets, right in the middle of that streak, and don't even own their pick.
