Hey all! The NCFFFFL is back!

Last year it was an all-Raleigh Super Bowl as the Kaardspun Tigers and the Duh-Huh's battled for NC FanForce football supremacy! Now we are back and looking to expand! Last year, FanForce members from Raleigh, Rocky Mount, and Greenville participated in our inaugural season, along with some independents to fill the league. This year we're hoping for more! We have room for 10 tens and would love to fill it up!

So, pretty much copying and pasting from last year's post -- I'm dropping in on the NC FanForce boards to invite anyone who is interested to take part in a fantasy football league this year. It's free, it's easy, and it's lots of fun (and it's on Yahoo)! Like most fantasy sports, the main thing you'll need to do is update your lineups each week. The draft will be an autopick draft, which means there is already a predetermined list of best available players at Yahoo, and they will put those players on teams in order based on our draft order. You do have the option to go into the predetermined list and re-order players to your preference, in case you do not agree with Yahoo's list. I figure the autopick draft is easiest, as getting a group of folks to agree on a live draft time would be pretty close to impossible.

If you're interested, here are the particulars -

Go to Yahoo! Fantasy Football and click on the Join a League link under Free Fantasy Football (not the bright orange button above it, which is the pay league)!!

    Click Join a Custom League.

The ID# is 438486 and the Password is darthvader.

The name of the league is NC FanForce Fantasy Football and you'll be able to create a team from there.

Everyone is welcome and even if you've never played before, join in on the fun! It's easy, doesn't take much time, and is always entertaining! Even if you're not a football guru, Yahoo will likely draft you a good team, then you'll just need to keep your players in the line up. We would love to have you!

All right! We've got 3 teams so far - hoping to get a full league of ten, so feel free to join up!

4 teams and counting . . . we have representation from Raleigh, Rocky Mount, and Greenville and looking for more! Even if you've never played before, it doesn't matter! It's fun and it's easy! I'm gonna hold out for about another week for FanForce members and then we'll open it up to "independents" to fill the league, so come on in! [face_dancing]

All information needed to join the league is in the first post of this thread! =D=

Once again, the Raleigh Fan Force rules the NCFFFFL as the Kaardspun Tigers and the Senile Felines, both of the TTF faced off in the Super Bowl with the Tigers repeating as champions. The Felines got to the Super Bowl from the 4th seed by defeating the overall top seed Dogs of War, while the 2nd seeded Tigers took care of business against the 3rd seeded Horsemen of the ECE. The underdog run of the Felines was quickly silenced in the championship though as the Tigers won 82-55. Congratulations to Stacey for her back-to-back wins and the beginning of her dynasty.

Yeah, I was hoping I would be able to make a underdog story this year, but I came up a little short. Dang.
