San Diego, CA Need Custom Light Saber advice.

    Trying to build my first custom saber to go with my new Barriss Offee Jedi Robes.
    I don't want to be lazy and buy one already made but I don't want to buy all the parts and screw it up either. Anyone knowledgable in this area willing to give me some advice so I can do this the right way? I have studied the basic parts I need but am not sure what to do with them to customize them lol. Help? I might be able to pay someone to teach me or build it with me....

    There's a Costuming and Props section of the board where people with more knowledge of saber building than I might be able to help out as well. :)
