    Hello,

I found this link from a Czech SW site:

What I'm wondering is if there is a translation for the name Luke Skywalker. I'm not familiar at all with Slavic languages and it appears that names are altered based on the context of how they are being used. I see many versions of "Luke" here. Luka, Lukovym, and Lukova. I also see Skyalker and Skywalkera.

If I was making a poster of Luke for sale in the Czech Republic how would I spell the name?

Thanks so much for any help you can give me!

It's called 'causes'. In many languages (actually, most of them) the declination of nouns changes depending on the syntax of sentence, thus different endings of the name in various sentences.

If you just need to sign the poster to let people know who's on it, it would be simply "Luke Skywalker". You use causes only in full sentences :)
