Hey folks. I'm making a latex mask of Bossk and have everything sculpted out and the front has been detailed. But I'm really really needing pictures of his head from the back. I'm kinda lost when it comes to the scales and textures and stuff. And the Saurins from the Cantina are no help cuz they have those huge collars.

So does anyone have any hi-res pictures of Bossk from the back? Or know of one in one of the books out there?

I really want this mask to be of the highest quality possible, so if all else fails, I'm sure the Gentle Giant mini-bust coming out next month will be my best option.

Don't forget about the 12" figure, it is pretty accurate. Try Rebelscum.com's photo archive for pics, but if you need better ones, I can take pictures of mine.

I need to check my copy of Chronicles -- if there's a good pic in there, I'll scan it for you.

    Thanks, Surly. :)

    It's worth every penny!

I thought I saw a Bossk Unleashed figure/statue? I imagine that would work well.

I assume you checked the action figures?

Yeah I have both versions of the Bossk figures. The sculptors must not have had any pics of him from the back either, because the back of his head is lacking in any detail. The 12-inch figure's head sculpt is terrible, so that's no help.

The Unleashed figure doesn't look to be too accurate from pictures, but the Mini-bust looks to be about the best version of him yet.

And Puzzler, none of those pictures are from the back.

I suppose you can just make it up using you knowledge of his face.

After all, if you don't know what the back of his head looks like, then neither does anyone else!

    Haha. Good point. :-D

Still. I'm such a perfectionist though. Even if everyone told me it looked great, if it didn't look right to me it would bug me forever.

Hmmm... Chronicles doesn't have a shot of the back, but there is one in profile -- will that help any?

If it's big enough to see some detail in the back, then it'd certainly help. The higher resolution in the scan, the better. There's a profile shot in the Behind the Magic cd-rom, but at 72 ppi, it's tough to make out any detail.

    Thanks!
