Buff, NY ** Need Responses before meeting **

It looks like there will be a lot of people who can't make the meeting. One of the main topics will be the annual NR holiday party and gift exchange.

Each of the past 3 parties, we have not had everyone's gift present and we had to scramble to make sure everyone had something to open. I understand that life is constantly changing and you never know what is around the corner, but there will be no scrambling this year.

I need to know everyone's answers to the following questions prior to Saturday's meeting:

1. Do you plan on attending this year's party?

2. What date(s) are best for you?

3. Do you want to particpate in the gift exchange?

4. Should we draw names or everyone bring a gift and draw numbers to see who goes first to chose from all the gifts brought to the party?

 

Dec 2, 9 and 23 are good for us if we have it on a Saturday.
Sundays in December may be dicey for us.

We do plan to attend, date permitting.

We will be gone Dec 15-17.

We will participate in a gift exchange.

We prefer names in advance, but if the majority likes drawing there, we'll abide.

2) A Friday evening or Sunday afternoon would be ideal for me.

3) I would participate only if I`m attending (less hassle for everyone involved)

4) Drawing names beforehand is better.

2. Break Officially starts Christmas day, so I should be home the two days prior. Break's for that week and the week after. If the party is held before then, I'd have to know in advance so I can request off from work.

4. I'll say draw names; but then again we haven't done pick-a-present since the YJN christmas party years ago.

1. Like Jeff, I would like to attend, but will probably be unable to if it`s a Saturday.

3. Sure, if by chance I know I cant make it this year I will make arrangement with Chris so that it gets to whomevers name I draw

1. Yes we plan on coming. Date pending.

2. Can't the 8th, 15th, and 17th.

4. Picking names is fun and probably easier.

2.) Dates we can possible attend (depending if Jason gets called in to work) Dec. 2nd & 3rd, 16th & 17th or 30th & 31st.

3.) No we would not be interested in the gift exchange.

4.) I think you should draw #'s at the party for the people who show up & have a gift to exchange, that way no one would be left without a gift if they brought one.

I am off on 2 Saturdays in December the 16th and the 23rd. Sunday nights are good too like last year, but the 17th is out for me.

I would prefer to draw names first so that you can give something specific to that person and you dont get something you would not want.
