I'll be in arriving this Thu, going to a private screening of Alejandro Jodorowsky's new movie and after party (he'll be there, hell yes).
I want to kick around the city the next day as much as I can and that seems to equal so little sleep I'm thinking of saving the hotel money and pulling an all nighter, just adding more 'stuff' to the experience.
I reserve the right to wimp out on that idea but if I go for it...

    Ideas?
If anyone wants to do lunch, or breakfast I guess, in Manhattan I'll be around Fri.

Hi, what do you want to do? Too many things to just say "ideas?"

^^^This. It's usually the best idea. Find a good trap house.

Hey, thought you'd be a good source.
Uh, that's a fine question. Well no raves or anything. I'll be fresh from a mini-concert/party so probably something chill. If there's some venerable all night diner where a diverse crowd of NY'ers hang, that would be cool. A coffee shop or bookstore-ish type place would be sweet. I understand the bars stay open real late, not my 1st choice but if there's one with an artsy vibe maybe.

But really I'm open minded, like if there's a 'only in NY' kind of a thing to kill time at while waiting for the sun to come up.

NY has a number of all-night speakeasies which have been in operation going back to Prohibition. If you are looking for an interesting dining experience and want to knock on a door and then have a bookcase moved in order for you to enter a subterranean dining room with live jazz and 24 hour revelry, consider a speakeasy. 2017 flappers make the best flappers.

Thought of that but they'd probably be closed or closing by the time I free up...?

Go to bed. Good people sleep in the night, and wickedness blooms under the cover of darkness. Best you be unconscious in the evil hour, lest malice nest in your heart.

I didn't know there were flappers (or speakeasies) in 2017. I may have to check that out myself.
