NEEDED BY THIS SPRING.

Hello everyone...I am going to keep this very quick and to the point. I am doing a BIG fan film in the spring...we have everything lined up for most of the film BUT we need one more location setting.

We are looking for a sand quarry/ sand beach /whatever..were we can shoot some scenes to make them look like they are on Tatoonie.

CFB Borden may have what you need, they have lots of desert like areas though it'll be tricky to keep the woodlines out of the shots.

But last time I checked isn't CFB Borden still used as a military training area... Talk about realistic special effect explosions

Have you considered Sauble Beach on the Bruce Pennisula or Sandbanks Provincial Park south of Bellville? Tricky shots with water and vegetation and other stuff around but it could be doable.

Yes, sandhills prov park...might just be were I will film the outdoor sand shots..I have a friend that is camping there in the spring and plans to take some "location shots" and bvring them back for me to take a peek at..or one day I might just say..the hell with work..and take a drive there.

Sauble Beach is a good place. Lots of sand and it's very scenic up there
