Is there a way to link 2 laptops together through a cable or through a wireless card? My friend and I want to find a way to play Galactic Battlegrounds and JKII: JO without being on the internet. First of all, Jedi Outcast lags alot when using a dial-up connection, and we don't have access to Broadband internet because it isn't available in the area we live in.

So what I'm trying to figure out is what I need to play a game such as Galactic Battlegrounds without being online. Any help would be great!

I connected my desktop to my laptop for playing JK against my brother. It required a cheap cable to connect serial ports.

All you could want to know can be found with a google search on "connecting 2 pcs for network gaming"

There are several options including serial cable, network cards, USB etc...
