looks like the hero boots actually zipped up the back from these new picts... and there appears to be just 2 lines on the heel caps....

You can buy replica boots here Haven't seen them avalible available else.

 

i'm aware of jim's boots, and know several people who own them... i've heard good things and some not so good things...some folks have been working with that boot maker trying to increase the accuracy of them....

so instead of just going with the one provider, i and several others are searching for the actual boots used and other replica boot makers that are out there....

I don't think that those zip up. From what I can tell it's a regular boot with a spat on the front.

Most boots have a leather strip that run down the back over a seam to reinforce it.

I agree with Jedi Girl. And I doubt that Anakin's boots come straight off a shelf. I've always assumed they were custom made by the costume department.

 

Most everything in the Star Wars "world" is custom made...including the fabric used for Anakin's cloak.

 

Actually, wasn't Obi-Wans boots modified Aussie Tank Boots?

Anakin's, I think, were riding boots with add-ons.
