New Jersey New banner ideas?

Guys I've been kicking around some ideas for a new banner for us. This one is going on a year old and I figured it would be time to put it out to pasture. Any ideas on what you'd like to see up there? Let me know.

we had some great ideas there.


I still say that we merge Giants Stadium and the ANH:SE X-Wing flight.


Plus...

Or we could kinda do a 4 seasons medley.

Hoth for Winter
Naboo for spring
Dagobah/Tatooine/Geonosis for summer
??? for fall




Or how about something with:

Statue of Libery and Yankees Stadium?

 

I was thinking maybe a view of NYC from New Jersey? How's that sound?

Oh and I'm already working on a Yankee Stadium portion...I'm waaaay ahead of you, whoever the hell you are.

EDIT: I've said several times that doing the X-wings over Giants Stadium is next to impossible considering I've never found a decent picture of Giants Stadium at night from the distance away that you'd need to make that shot look good.

Mike...can we do the X-wings over the NYC skyline?

 

I don't think so simply because of the fact that in order for it to look good scale-wise, they would have to be really small and so would the shot of the city. So it may just end up being so small that it would be extremely grainy.

Give me some other ideas for right now. Do we wanna do a Jersey shore background?

Ok...how about some LotR characters mixed in with the SW and NJ people?

 

Yeah, Shawn, I don't think having the LOTR characters would work too well, considering some people aren't too fond of LOTR. I'm not naming names, but they know who they are.


I like the daytime pic of NYC that Mike posted earlier. However, shouldn't we be gunning for something more Jersey-themed?

 

RJ is about the only one that won't watch LotR.

His vote does not count.

Nah. I'm not doing anything from LOTR. It won't bode well with everything.

If anyone can find me a decent shot of somewhere on the Jersey shore, then put it here cuz I've had absolutely NO luck finding anything clear.


EDIT: Scratch that. I think I just found a perfect one.

 

OK here's a VERY early draft of what I have so far. It still needs a LOT of work, the colors need to be fixed and the little details aren't worked out yet but this will give you a general idea of what my vision is.

I could get you a shot of the Barneget Bay Frozen over LOL. Anyone up for a hockey game. A few years back the bay was frozen over and some idiot actually tried to drive their car over the bay he sunk halfway HAHA!!!!

It's not even close to done. The color needs fixing...as does the side bar and I wanna get rid of the graininess but that's an idea.

Not bad Mike...but how about more of the Yankees Stadium, less of the boats, because they are ugly. Now if they were the speed boats.

It's not about the boats...it's about the shore. the Jersey shore.


That's the backdrop. I just have to make up my mind on what else goes where.
