JCC new best friends club thread

Wow, so my play is finally over. Last show was a matinee today and then it was rip the set down for a few hours and I'm done. Maybe I will post in here a little more again now. I already feel the crash. It's a really difficult thing ending a show; you lose that sense of purpose and the little family that's formed and grown into a real group of tight friendship just breaks apart and everyone goes a different direction. I always have to fight the depression right after a show; that's the reason some people just go show to show to show. I'm off work tomorrow so I can rest, which I need to do, but I also need to get out of the house and do something or I'll just spiral down.

 

well besties. i got a job in my new city, in july when i move here. so that's good. especially since i recently found out that i hate my current job and my stupid boss.

i'll make the best of my last two months in my current city tho. i've made a lot of friends and it's been a lot of wine, so i can't complain.

 

you can't whine about wine. unless it's white wine.

That's probably why it's so popular. I don't really like white wine, except the occasional chilled Riesling in the summer. I prefer red wines as well. And craft beer.

 

I was going to say the same thing. What's wrong with white wine? It would seem to me only Nazis and pedophiles have a problem with white wine, make of that what you will.

I like your withdrawals. My withdrawals from things usually include anger and annoyance at the world.

 

I would be able to remember what it is we agreed on and shook hands over, but for all the beer I drank.

 

Are you weaning off of it or transitioning to a new one or what? Um, I ask the question here because you mentioned it here. Obviously, you can ignore this or take it to PM if you'd be more comfortable talking about it there. I only ask because of my own lovely times with such drugs.
