After a day and a half surffering through terrible food poisoning, I'm finally on the mend... w00t!

A visit to a buffet did me in.

 

i think i just started my baking career. apparently i could handle making marzipan, which took 4 ingredients and no use of the oven, so nothing's gonna stop me now.

 

How'd they taste?

 

good. i just tasted them.

 

That's what the fast food trash you fancy eventually does.

 

Well, sure, but this was the 1st time in 11 years of going to that particular restaurant (HomeTown Buffet) in which food poisoning has occurred... that's a good track record.

 

So my mother sent me a care package with some other stuff and several loaves of frozen Spanish bread, that should last me through the end of the year,

 

My mother hasn't visited this year, so I'm all out of (good) cheese and honey.

 

Mostly wild unfiltered honey harvested by Mexican villagers, which they then sell on the sides of a road for a living. Best stuff ever. My mom buys me a big jar and brings it when she visits.

I know not to buy the cheapest honey at the stores because it's mixed with corn syrup. If I have to buy it in a store then it's the smallest jar of a pricier honey.

 

There appears to be a black fly in my ... Chianti. It is not ironic at all.

Getting over a cold which wasn't that bad. Just one day of feeling like poop. I bought like 80 movies at Pawn America though in the past month. haha oh god please help me

Besties I just took my daughter to her first horseriding class.

I really didn't feel like it. It wasn't my idea to begin with, but my girlfriend's sick so I had to go.
The weather is beautiful, and the stable is in the forest. The forest is only 10 minutes away by bike. It was wonderful!
Few things are as cute as a six-year old bobbing on a pony.

I used to not care for horses at all. And what is it with girls and horses, anyway? But since I got interested in the history of mankind, and read and watched a few things about our history with horses, I've started digging them. Too bad we don't really need them anymore and have reduced their use to a hobby. But it's still better than nothing. Besties, If the kid keeps wanting to go horseriding, you´ll be seeing SuperWatto buy a horse!

 

Update: the bread lasted one week.

 

Who would want to see them enter the battlefield again? Horses don't need to be useful to us--their intrinsic value is that they are horses. And anyway, the mounted police would disagree with your remark.

 

Pony Express would be cool.
